So far it is holding up, BUT...I'm not sure how long it will last. The system that hoists it up and down is plastic, so it may not endure. We'll see. We purchased 3 of these to hang in tandem around a west facing front porch. The fabric is nice and the installation not overly difficult. What is disappointing is the the chains on the three do not match; the 5 foot has a chain about 30 inches shorter, which means it is extremely hard to reach and is visually disturbing to the eye. We also found it necessary to purchase 1/8 inch marine grade bungee to allow for a tie down to the ground as the width is not quite sufficient for our spacing to completely go to the edges on the sides where the ball is used to access a lock on the side to prevent wind flapping. All in all a good product with some design elements overlooked that would elevate it to premium. Mostly I am disappointed in the chain length as there seems to be no way to add chain or easily replace it as it seems to be incorporated into the housing on one of the installation brackets.
