We live on a windy bay just outside Cape Cod Massachusetts. A place where the locals laugh when other states call 25 mph winds windy or 6 inches of snow a "storm". We have it all! 2 ft plus blizzards usually 2 to 4 times a year on top of the usual 3 to 8 inches often, Nor'Easters storms of 60 mph plus gusts with inches of rain, salt in the foggy mornings coming off the bay and river and now that I've said all this here is why it is important ... *** We have had these lights up for 13 + months straight and they are *** FREEKIN' TONKA TRUCK TOUGH !!! *** we have NEVER even had to adjust them, never lost a bulb, nothing but put em' up well and let em' rip baybeee! *** IMPORTANT TO KNOW FACT *** these WILL NOT LIGHT UP IF THERE YOU HAVE YOUR PORCH, FLOOD, SPOTLIGHTS ON NEAR THEM !!! They only light up in COMPLETELY DARKENED AREAS. You also need to make sure you adjust the solar panel facing the sun so easterly is best as the sun sets in the west. I can't say enough good things about these lights! I HIGHLY recommend these lights and have 4 sets going on 5. Ps. I put my new ones up ... They were DEAD DEAD DEAD that morning i wove them thru the bushes. It actually snowed 5 inches so we got zero sun but some bright clouds after 5 inches down and these TONKA BAD BOYS were twinkling away like the other veteran hero multi colored ones we have just from tha little bit of brightness and went on a twinking all night til 6 am! Easy to install, cheap, bright lights, only thing I"m not so sure on his how long they will last. So far none of the bulbs have gone out and it's outdoors 24/7 :) the solar panel charger is doing well as well.

I had many compliments, having them twinkling all through the season. Being solar, they were on longer after sunny days (sometimes still going just before dawn!), but always gave at least a little show even on cloudy days.

I love these lights, easy to install and ver bright, but they do not last long,seems to mee that the solar cell is poor quality or not strong enough to light all those lights for long, After two hours they dim and dissapear in the dark.

I bought 4 of these. Should have listened to negative reviews. All 4 get plenty of sun. 1 stop working after a week. 2 light for about 1-3 hours and 1 for about an hour. Very disappointed. Not very bright (including me, who should not have bought them).
