As with any furniture that comes in a box it's LOADS of fun to assemble. Not. Well this wasn't as difficult as it normally should be just follow the instructions and you will find your rear end sitting in it... comfortably. It's not a huge recliner and it would be good for smaller rooms, but also for kids and the elderly. Kids because it's a good non-oversized chair for them, and the elderly because of the slimness in design allows for it to keep them upright. Despite my age I take care of my mom who has frontal vascular dementia for the last 6 years, that my son and I have been taking care of her. She is using one of our leather overstuffed recliner rocker chairs and while it's comfortable and nice as she ages and gets worse she leans and having a slimmer chair in comparison definitely helps. Though, not sure this will work out for her, we can use it ourselves (me in other words) if needed. My old bones are getting older. The fabric is decent quality and feel, and there is enough padding but a bit more would have been nice, but also can be added if needed by third party additions. So not a big deal. At this price this is a solid made and expertly built and assembled by the greatest workman of all time and space... me. No, no! No need to praise me. I have no ego! :D It's worth the cost if you don't want to spend a small fortune on having a recliner you can kick back in and relax at the end of the day and just chill. One thing I have learned though with all new fabric (not leather) based furniture is to spray it with water repellant treatment to help keep it lasting for years to come. Also the side pockets come in handy as well! The remote is easy to use and the power recline and incline is smooth!

WOW I cannot believe the quality of this chair for the low price. It arrived in a much smaller package than expected, but was incredibly easy to assemble I am a 270 lb male, and the motor in this chair has no problem whatsoever in moving me If I had to find a negative, it would be the remote needs clearer markings.

Zero stars. I am sitting here bawling. I needed this chair so badly and I’ve spent all day and can’t get it together by myself. It feels like it’s made of cardboard and I can’t get any of the screws to line up. I also can’t get it all back in the box right to return. Idk where these positive reviews came from but this chair is a piece of crap! I’m so upset!

Very pretty color took 2 hours to put together! The chair looks like it could hold a child. I bought other recliners, and they are beautiful as described. This however is cheap I didn't pay much for it, and I guess you get what you pay for. I wish the seller would just say it is a piece of junk!

This is a unique chair. It took my husband about an hour to build with very shoddy instructions. He basically had to use intuition and figure out how the chair should look to be able to put it together. Although the chair is sturdy and relatively stout, I have concerns that after some time the cushions will flatten and we will be able to feel the frame-which has happened in the past with two other chairs we ordered from Amazon. The material is soft but that's where my affection for the chair ends. I'm almost 6 ft tall and my husband is 6.4. When we sit in this chair and push our back flat against the back of the chair our feet stick up like a little kid in a chair too large. If you are shorter than us you would not have this problem I hope. They're is no convex lumbar support that I've seen in other chairs; even the cheapest recliner I've bought had some lumbar support. That's why I was surprised at the back of this chair. It is literally straight and flat all the way down into the seat. That's part of the reason it allows the body to slide all the way back. As for the motor function, it does work but it takes about a full minute to recline which is fine if you are elderly. We were hoping for a recliner we could just hop in and kick back in. This one moves very very slowly into the recline position. Once in the reclined position, the lack of convex cushion in the lumbar support is even more exaggerated (maybe this is just an us problem because we both have low back trouble) and the spine lays perfectly flat while struggling to maintain that natural curvature in the spine. It's just not comfortable at all. We don't enjoy sitting in it since our legs stick out and we don't enjoy reclining in it because it doesn't support our low back. The reason for my title is I think the chair could be good for someone who has low expectations for a recliner. Our expectations were too high therefore we were disappointed.

Not enough padding for the seat and legs rest. For someone recovering from orthopedic surgery this recliner isn't comfortable for very long without some extra foam padding.
