Please note this Chon (Weasel) coffee is fermented in a factory and is not a true Weasel (Kopi/Civet) coffee. I usually drink the Trung Nguyen Legend Limited and Special Edition Weasel Vietnamese Coffee, which is through farmed method; feeding Civet ripen coffee berries and collecting the undigested beans in the droppings to create the coffee. But at around $70 per 8.8oz, it is expensive and only comes in ground not whole beans. I use a super automatic expresso machine and wanted whole beans for the automatic grinder. So I wanted to try this due to the cheaper price and comes in whole beans. This coffee is definitely smoother than normal beans that i have used in the past (various bends from Lavazza, Mayorga, Kirkland, Starbucks, Peet’s) the bend is a nice medium, but it is more light-medium, i usually go for more full-body. It is good, but with the 4X price premium of regular coffees, I would say it is expected, and not a wow. In on the other hand, even though the Legend coffee is 4X the price of this, it has such a distinctive chocolate aromatic taste and is extremely smooth that anyone who tried it have noticed it right away. Again, this is a good coffee, and I’ll most likely buy more in the future, but it wasn't distinctive enough and is too light for me. If they offer a darker roast, I will definitely try that more.

Loved the coffee but it is a bit pricey and if it's processed chemically and not using wild civets this making it not a rare commodity I think it should be priced cheaper to reflect that.

For the price and supposed to be less acidic . It tasted like regular coffee beans. Has a stronger biter taste.

Authentic taste, just like the coffee I remember from my travels. Rich and flavorful, great with or without milk! I will definitely buy it again.

I’m not one to typically write a review on Amazon after ordering something but this was so good I had too. The coffee is really very smooth, rich, no bitter taste at all. One of the highest quality I’ve had. I’ll definitely be buying again!!

I have tried this coffee in Vietnam and was really impressed. I’m so happy I found it on Amazon. Very smooth, with great taste. Noticeable notes of chocolate and caramel. Love it!!👍 Would highly recommend 👌
