I mounted two of these very nice lights in our backyard to replace some ugly old ones with an ornate structure that partially blocked the light from LED bulbs. These, by comparison, have four clear glass panels that allow the maximum lighting possible. They are attractively and classically styled, and have already gotten some positive comments. It's remarkable how much lamp replacements can improve the look of one's home. Everything you're likely to need for installation is included, but since it's not always possible to mount lamps perfectly in a wall, there were a few minor bumps along the way in this case. First, I wanted to use the mounting bracket from the old lights that were already in place and looked okay, but the position of the screw holes on the old bracket were slightly different from the ones in the new lamp. So I needed to use the included bracket instead, which worked perfectly. This was my issue, not the manufacturer's. Next, since the bracket had to be mounted a bit further into the wall opening instead of the ideal scenario where it could be flush with the wall surface, the included mounting screws were too short to mount the light. I needed to reuse the longer screws from the old light instead, which worked out fine. I would suggest that the manufacturer include longer mounting screws in the future, since flush mounting is not a very likely option in my experience, especially with thick outdoor stucco walls. The included three wire nuts are appropriately sized for 12 gauge wire, which I appreciated. Some other lamps I've gotten recently included very small wire nuts that were not useful for proper wiring. As with any installation, I strongly recommend pulling on the wires after tightening each nut to ensure they are snugly in place, as they can sometimes fail to stay put and can slip out over time. A poor electrical connection in a wire nut is not good, sometimes causing mysterious flickering or worse. Installation of both lights took less than a half hour, and the results are great. I think their very good construction quality should result in many years of use, so I think they are an excellent value.

This is such a nice outdoor light fixture, much bigger than I expected and works with either classic, craftsman, or modern architecture. I am not an electrician but have swapped out several light fixtures and this one is just as easy as all the others--it's only hard on the first one, then it's an addiction! such an easy update with big impact.

For the price, this is a decent fixture. It's not the highest of quality, but it was very easy to install. It looks great overall, but there are imperfections in the edges of the glass. Standard light bulbs fit fine, giving you some variety in the level of brightness you'd like to have. Overall, it works well, and is a decent value for what you pay.

Unfortunately, we have determined that we need to have a security camera at our front door of our home. I tried using a solar (much more expensive) security camera at the front door, but it kept losing connection, so I was looking for another solution. I have acquaintances who have had great luck with camera lightbulbs, but my light fixture just wasn't going to work with the bulb, so I was looking for a fixture that still fit my decor but provided the appropriate amount of "open" space for the camera to do its job. This fixture is PERFECT for that! It was easy to install and looks great!

Standard mounting plate for 4 inch box; adjustable (would probably fit a 3" box as well). Hot and neutral wires are stranded aluminum, ground is stranded copper. Has good weight to it. Standard e26 socket, bulb not included. No welds, all screwed together. No weather seal on the plate cover so you'll need to add your own or use silcone if installing outdoors, but the arm connectors pre-silconed behind the plate so no water can seep in that way.

I like this a lot. I recommend NOT taking the glass panels out during install if you can help it. I did it so they didn’t get broken..,I did not realize reinstalling them while the thing was mounted would be a multiple person all-hands job. That’s on me. Even the little retainer post caps have little o-rings to prevent moisture from getting in and that is great. Make sure to clear exterior grade silicone where the fixture flange meets the exterior wall of the house.
