But do not buy if you are over 200 lbs. This is not for you. With that said, I didn't like this ladder at first bc it does feel like it has some bend to it, but after going up and down several times fully extended, I feel totally confident in it. Was able to cut down trees growing over the house and save thousands by doing that myself. If you can get use to how it feels, you'll be OK. If not, I'd suggest paying a bit more for your peace of mind. ... show more

It's nice that it's portable, but you need to be careful when you close it or you will smash your fingers/hand when bringing the ladder down, and it will make you cuss, bad part is when you use the ladder again in 10 hours you will forget and repeat it again. I weigh over 200 lbs so I was sceptical of this, but the primary reason I bought it was for the stability the hooks represented - throeretically. The construction seems good, but it is grossly under-engineered and flexes like a snake as you ascend. I can see a 10ft version being usable, but past that it is awkward (step height is not even due to telescoping design) and downright scary. I would NEVER carry any kind of load up this ladder - it's just too flimsy. It appears to be a ladder for smaller folks. Great for someone around 100 lbs. I'm returning it. ... show more

This product is made from a cheap high impact plastic - possible alloy. The ladder states that it will carry a max load over 300lbs - not if you want to live! I’m pushing 200 lbs and after climbing 1/3 of the way up the ladder the middle was buckling and making noise (this was with no tools just to test it out of the box)! Good luck to anyone using this ladder for a project where the middle has to be at a full extension and if you are in the 200 lb range with tools - I hope you have excellent insurance and a padded landing. Seller wanted to offer me a $20 refund and to keep the product - no thanks, I would like to continue living without a neckbrace for a bit longer. I asked the seller for a full refund - they said sure but you need to pay to ship it back to us?????!!!!! Seriously?! I paid to have this shipped to me - why would I be further inconvenienced to have to pay for shipping the. Wait for you to give me my money back so I can buy a quality product somewhere else???! This is your customer service ? Can't say enough why I like this ladder. Easy enough for me to handle. I'm a 66 year old female and have used it by myself several times. Easy to carry, lightweight, easy to open up and expand and very easy to collapse. I would recommend this ladder for everyone.
