Battery life was the same for all the other versions but what made this one the best was that it was the most lightweight, the least fussy (one button), strong fan compare to others, and the blades were covered so didn’t hit my face/safer for kids. The other fans with exposed blades didn’t really hurt too much if it hit you but you couldn’t hold them under your shirt or close to your hair. This one was compact and safer and more versatile. I bought 2 of these for my husband and I when we went to a summer music festival last weekend. We live in Texas, so the heat is brutal. Not only did these arrive exactly when we needed them (they were a last minute purchase with quick delivery), but they were also exactly what we needed. They kept us cool and we never ran out of battery (but we had an external power source on hand just in case!). One thing to note - one of the fans was missing the front name plate. It did leave an exposed wire, but we unfortunately didn’t have time to get a replacement.
