Very happy with this enclosure so far! It’s a good size and I like the color, I’ve been using it for two weeks so far with no issues. The smell isn’t overpowering either, I liked the smell when I first built it and now I don’t notice it at all. My only problem is that I wish the hook could be adjusted so I could make it much lower, it’s far too tall for my lights to be effective even at its lowest adjustment. ... show more

Pretty solid for the most part. Easy to put together, and sturdy once done. Had a few chips and you can tell the wood is pretty cheap. Also, they completely wrapped the windows in protective film. Meaning, the window in embedded in the wood, so it is incredibly difficult to fully peal the film off. I had to use a razor knife, and still was unable to get it all off. Not a huge deal. My Russian tortoise loves it so far, and the included light hanger is a nice addition. ... show more

The legs are a little flimsy, but I decided to take them off anyway. The wood on one of the legs was split. This took me about an hour to assemble, it was pretty straightforward; I would recommend using a screw gun. It looks just like the photos, and is perfect for my small tortoise. Im loving this new enclosure for my box turtles. I have 2. There is plenty of room for both of them to roam around. They seem to be as happy with it as I am. Its sturdy and very easy to assemble.

I just put this together today. It all seems pretty sturdy. I think the latches could get a small upgrade as they are kind of flimsy. It does smell strong of paint when you 1st open it but by the time i got it together that had dissipated. Also the film on the windows, use a razor (box) cutter and go around it as close as you can without cutting the wood. It will peel right off. Be gentle though so you don't scratch it up anywhere. (Seen quite a few peoples complaint was that film but i had no problems getting it off). I really like it and hope my tortoise will too! If things go South i will be back to update. If it all stays good, I will leave this review at a 5 star. ... show more

It’s a great quality home for your turtles and it smells really great, but I did have the send it back, but I’m getting another one right away because it was missing holes to put the screws in and the wood did split/snap mid assembling it, but I guess that was just builder error 🤦🏻😭
