Great little miner. Pretty easy to setup if you have at least some familiarity with computers. Nice packaging and clear instructions. I have mine running steady at just over 300GH. These really do need a high powered USB hub designed for miners. I first tried running two of these with a generic USB hub that should have had plenty of power, but I was unable to get above 240GH without getting lots of errors. I switched to a better hub and was able to increase the speed and it works great now. ... show more

    • The fan is set to pull air, not push.
AltairTech has the fan pulling air, which is ideal if you bought, or 3D printed the overhead fan for the Gekko hub. If you didn’t, flip the fan so it pushes toward the heat sink for better cooling.

Although recently I received 2 sticks with issues they are easy to work with to return or replace. I have 12 Altairtech sticks. I've tried other vendors and it's a joke. I wouldn't buy from anyone else.

    • It works, but the instructions are generic
The device works, but the instructions are generic. The instructions only allow you to use a certain account and password, which means YOU aren't making money. Whoever owns the account for "1HAMBURGER..." is stealing your crypto. Plus, it's next to impossible to register with the default pool because you get locked out if 1 single error occurs. ... show more
