Impressed!!! Wasn't expecting much with the sub box I have a duel q power for my 07 ram quad cab bought that box on accident it was shipped before I could cancel the box I originally wanted never came it was the single ported bbox so I only had one sub for that dual box with a old mrp500 Alpine amp and sub wired to 4-ohm once I had everything set right it shook the ram pretty good never had a sealed box before especially one at .65 cubic feet so I bought another sub both wired so 2 ohm at amp and they hit.. Very pleased my brother has over a thousand in his 2500 GMC Sierra with a ported box two Memphis tens and these blow his system away I can't speak for everybody's setup but these work well with mine first pair of tens I've ever owned and first sealed box I've always had 12s in a ported box they made me a believer.. I'm going to try the Type R's next time ... show more

This thing defies physics! The low end response is incredible in a 1sq ft sealed enclosure. The power is all I could ask for give it's size and air volume. Very happy with the adaptability of impedance too. 10/10

    • Wonderful Sound - Worth Every Penny!
I've always trusted Alpine when it comes to sub's and amp's and they did not let me down with this product. It sounds great, and is very solidly build. I paired it with a Alpine MRV-M500 amp and a Sound Ordnance BB10-125V Single 10" Vented Box which turned out to be a very powerful setup. Amazing bass levels from these speakers , couldn’t be more pleased . I liked the slightly shallower mounting depth of a little less than 5 inches which made these speakers extremely versatile for many different sub boxes.
