    • Can't find a quarter in the grass
Does not work. It only sounded when I had it pointing at a large aluminum door from about 1in away. Only detected a quarter on asphalt from 1/2in away. In grass, never detected a quarter I tossed - or anything else. Sensitivity set just lower than the continuous (max) tone sensitivity.

This is a higher priced detector for children that in the description says is better and more efficient when we opened and tried to use the product it was pretty much a toy to wear. When you spin the wheel it made noise did not detect things and less up close total waste of money. The back which holds the battery in easily falls off, and just not a good product for the amount of money it cost. ... show more
