Very easy to set up, my son is 9 and likes oak island and looking for treasure. This took 5 minutes to learn how to use for a 9year old. It is pretty accurate, not 100% but perfect for my son to use to find “treasure” in our back yard and at the park. He is very excited and I was surprised it actually worked. It works....ish.... It is very cheap. Lightweight plastic. There's no in between with it when it comes to volume, sensitivity, etc. Definitely for little kids beginning this. My kids got the jist easily, could hold it no problems, and we found stuff near the top of the ground level. Just remember this is VERY BASIC when buying. ... show more

Was so hard to put together, very very tight fit to click the middle section together. I’m SO disappointed, this Broke after 2 hours of using it. The spin dial fell off after setting the sensitivity 2 different times for different depths. You cannot use this without the spin dial. Update - they did refund the full amount to me for this item.
