These scissors are amazing! Used to cut braid and mono all the time. Also used when rigging natural bait to cut the waxed thread and pec fins (mostly ballyhoo when rigged with circle hooks for billfish). We love this product. They hold up well in salt water. They cut everything well. They would get a perfect 5star rating if the latch on the handles didn’t break on the first outing. Doesn’t effect their performance. We will continue to purchase these cutters.

I was organizing the tackle mess today and had to cut some loose canvas. These scissors were the trick. They've cut a lot of mullet tails and line since I bought them and they cut like new. I do have some rust but nothing to affect usability. The plastic latch that holds the handles together will be wearing out soon and I'll figure out something or buy a new set. Use these exclusively to bleed out walleye; they do that cleanly. Comfortable handle. Can't comment on other uses but I'm sure they'd be better than regular scissors.
