Though this is the only bagger available for the Z6 (bar or e-steer), it is good quality overall, very functional and easy to build and install (or remove). The bins just set in place and are secured by the closed lid. However I worry about the thinness of the plastic lip around the bags, and that the handle could break, as the plastic is a bit flexible, so I am careful when I slide them out full and grab with the other end as well. You can easily access the battery compartment by just lifting the one bag up. The 2 mounting poles just slide in, but can stick. For removing, it is best to remove the pins that hold the bagging enclosure first, then pull the rack out, else it can be awkward. There is a viewable section of the chute, so you can see the volume of grass moving, or if there is a clog. Releasing the strap and separating for unclogging or cleaning is easy. There is another rubber strap behind the deck eject port used for attachment. It is not difficult to remove the lower section of the tube from the deck, so long as you have already removed the upper section. Overall, the process is pretty easy to remove the bagger, and takes less then 5 minutes to put back on when needed, but removal is much faster. It makes the mower louder, due to the resonance and all of the deck noise going up the tube, but is still quieter than a gas mower. Obviously, it adds width to the right side, so you can't fit through the same spaces, and when riding uneven ground, be mindful that if going by a tree, the bagger on the left side sticks out further than the rear tire. As for length, the bagger does not add any. It includes weights for the front, but it is debatable if they are needed. I may remove mine. The bagger is completely out of the way for the hitch, so a trailer installed with the bagger is not a problem. After use, the window will likely turn yellow or green. When using the hose on the deck at high power, will clean it off a bit, but I usually open the tube and wipe it out with wet paper towels, so it does not stain over time. I have cleaned mine dozens of times, which is still crystal clear. For storage, the bagger only adds a bit of width, and some height above the seat back, but the capacity of the bags is excellent, and they hold more than the bags on my old toro timecutter-z, and with less clogging. In fact, mine has never clogged. Like all EGO products, it has the flashy branding to match the mower. ... show more

This is a great bagger. I thought the bags were too small at first, but when they are full they are pretty heavy, and they work great. Easy to take on and off. The tubes stay connected well, and rarely clogs. If it's wet then it clogs fairly easy, or if trying to cut more than say 2" of grass at a time. It's not cheap but makes for clean yard with little effort. ... show more

The Ego bagger is a winner! It is the best functioning riding mower bagger I have ever used. I am completely satisfied with it. Two things to note. The clear plexiglass sight glass in the tube gets dirty very quickly. If you want to see the grass coming up the chute you will have to clean it every time you mow. Also even though the bagger sits above the mower keeping it out of the way it can bang against things you are mowing up against on the left side. In my situation I mow next to a raised deck and if I turn the mower to the right as I normally would the bagger will hit the wood of the deck. The deck is completely above the mower so most people won't have this situation. I am just mentioning it. If the chute does clog it is very easy to bang the lower section from the mower seat and it will blow right out. I have never been able to do this before. Also the bags do fit a 39 gallon trash bag. It is very tight but it does work. Buy this bagger. You will be very happy with it. ... show more

Try to change the blades out is a design flaw. Never over the last 50 yrs of changing blades have I ever needed 3 hands to change the blades. Engineers designed it wrong and should never be given a job as an engineer again. My dad taught me plenty and I know design flaws thanks to his tool & die experience. If you can have someone else install it or are handy yourself dont but. Must be a chinese thing since Ive never had a problem with one before. ... show more

Love this bagger and very easy to install. Shute does clog though so have to stop frequently and clear the shute.

Clogs easily if it rained recently or there is morning dew. I have a .7 acre yard and have to empty the bags 3 times per mow if I do it once a week

I love this bagger. Works good, but you've got to crank up the speed of the blade. Will plug up if you mow wet grass but is a champ otherwise. Plus: this seller had it as much as half the price of other gendors-- big thanks.
