Amazing device! Easily connects to any bluetooth/wi-fi sources, performs fast, actually there are so much options and functions that you might spend couple months just to get to know her)) integrated sound lacks clarity though, if you are planning to rock some favorite tracks you might be dissapointed a little, but connecting a wireless speaker is a matter of second and sound is amazing. The only assistant that I’ve ever had as a separate device was a Google assistant, and a store brand at that. I never used it for much, and it didn’t seem very capable of anything. Over the holidays I ordered an Alexa Dot with the added smart bulb. Wow! Pairing everything took a little work, but once that was done I was off and running. The different routines you can create are wonderful! I liked them so much I ordered 2 more. 2 of them are in rooms with smart bulbs. One is programmed to turn on at a certain time on these dark mornings. Both are programmed to turn off at night and to be turned on by sound and turned off if no one is in the room. There is surely a ton more these things are capable of. They’ll tell you your inside temperature, and you can name each room any silly thing you want. I’ve used the announcements, broadcast, and a few other features. It’s also remarkably helpful when answering questions. That’s been a big plus as well. The sound quality is nice, and they are pleasant to look at. Highly recommend! ... show more

There's not much to say about this. It's an Echo, it does what Echoes do. The sound quality is good and I like the addition of the clock which is helpful at night. Overall a sturdy unit and the voice recognition works well although sometimes it responds to commands in the middle of the night when no one is away. (I'm pretty sure that's an Alexa thing as one of my older units does the same thing.) ... show more

So enjoyable I bought a second for upstairs bedroom. I enjoy the warm, rich, mellow tone and immediate response of Alexa to my request for music. Everything about this device from its pleasing appearance and display is awesome and notifications from Amazon regarding orders and shipments is timely. I also like the weather updates.
