Without a doubt, these are the best manufactured and designed pots and pans on the market. Absolutely incredible. All you have to do is follow three VERY simple rules (which all negative reviews and complaining users DIDN’T do!: 1) NEVER set the dial above 3 (out of 10) on your stovetop. Between 2 and 3 seems to be the sweet spot; 2) wait AT LEAST 5 minutes before even considering putting anything in the pan; and 3) thoroughly coat the pan surfaces (bottom and sides) with butter or oil AFTER pan is warm but BEFORE placing any food item in the pan. Do this and these pans are virtually non-stick no matter what you are cooking - fish, pork, eggs, beef, chicken, veggies - will cook PERFECTLY every time! I feel like a Michelin star chef after every delicious meal. Clean up is the best part. Half the time I just rinse the pan with hot water and that’s it. Other times a soft sponge is all it takes. Do this within 30 minutes or so when done cooking and it’s that easy. Avoid the dishwasher as there’s no need as you’ll be using these pans 3x a day if you’re like me. If you want to restore the out-of-the box shine from time to time, simply use the cleaner that’s suggested and sold by manufacturer. ... show more

A minor defect was dealt with in a prompt and courteous manner. Seller is highly recommended, the product, not so much. After a year of using these implements I find the heavy cast handles far too hot to use without an oven mitt. What were they thinking when they designed these I wonder? Mass is going to retain heat…why is that beneficial in a pot lid? I’ve had many, many, MANY cook sets in my lifetime and would gladly swap any of them for these. I think AllClad is surviving on reputation alone, purchased by people like me that continually up-graded over the years until the most expensive set was acquired. This cookware is f!@#ing awesome! I have been looking to upgrade my pots and pans and completely move away from teflon. I prefer the brushed finish to the mirror finish, it was also slightly cheaper. The handles are stay cool while the pans heat up really well and evenly. We have even been making tons of great foods including - fried eggs and french omelettes with minimal to no sticking. It is really not difficult to cook on stainless steel if you are up to learn something new, even my partner is excited to cook more now that we have such beautiful cookware. We have been coking on them for a few months now and couldn't be happier. They are definitely pricey and heavy but these are not deterrents for me as they are a life time investment and made in America! ... show more

We made a grilled cheese sandwich and i had to soak the pan for a day and SCRUB with All-Clad cleanser with some muscle to get the scorch off. I had my husband spray with avocado oil because the pans are not non-stick and that may have been the problem. I love the pans and my sandwich was cooked perfectly.     • Save yourself the frustration. DO NOT BUY
Here's my honest real life experience review. Oh my oh my, every thing you cook on medium low get stuck to the bottom of the pots or pans. I spent so much time reading their books how to use them, I watch videos and I have a smooth surface stove. These pots and pans have become a big pain really quick. It's so frustrating trying to make it work. I took real good care of them by trying not to scratch them. I washed them with a microfiber cloth and the amount of strength I put to clean the stain is unreal and they still stay STAINED, it's unbelievable. I had to return them. This was my gift to myself for my brand new home and it was an epic fail. I wanted to spend money to buy good quality pots and pans that's why I spend over $1600 to buy this set and I was sooooo mistaken. No matter what I cook get stuck and I always use my low and medium low setting. I made scrambled eggs and I put grass fed butter and a little bit of olive oil in the pan first on LOW. The egg got stuck to the bottom of the pan. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this set. It will only bring you frustration and regrets. I am still waiting for my $1600+ refund.
