This product is pretty good quality for the price. But its SIZING IS WAY OFF! I am a professional seamstress, and I know how to measure. I followed their sizing guide, using the waist as a measurement, as there is more give in the bust generally. Since my waist is 33 inches, I ordered the 2XL. It was far TOO LARGE, even with the laces pulled completely tight in the back (which is improper corset wear, at any rate -should always have a 2 inch gap). I would subtract 3 to four inches from your actual waist measurement (not what you think your waist is, but the actual measurement) to get the appropriate size. They need to edit their guide for people to purchase the correct size, and then this would be a great product, especially for the price. I own two of these. The first one was a painted gift, from an artfashion house, the same as the photo I've posted with the giant clasps, but in brown. After that fit me so well, I checked the tag and really wanted another, as, the brown version is a GREAT first affordable corset...the hardware is attached insanely well, it isn't going to lift, and the bones are strong. My issue, as you can see, is that the cheap black pleather arrived picked and quite dingy, which is a dead giveaway for fake leather. I really wanted another in brown, as, it doesn't look like shiny fake leather, it looks more like a vintage cloth leather. I actually was questioning whether or not it was real. Pleather has been known to pick like this and to take this shape, so, I knew when I ordered it that it could be a problem, I just really hoped that it wouldn't be. I read all of the reviews on here and measured myself carefully. I then went one size smaller than I thought I needed and was happily surprised when the ordering drop down menu matched the smaller size with my measurements. I thought I was so smart and gleefully awaited it's arrival. It arrived proptly and did have a bit of a diesel smell when it first came out of the package. The smell went away within a few minutes of airing out so that wasn't an issue. I put it on and yes, the snaps are a little difficult until you get the hang of them. I agree with those who suggest starting in the middle and working towards the bottom. The top ones pop in place easily after that. I tightened and tightened until the back edges were totally together. The corset is still a little looser than I would like and I might order a second one in a size smaller. Just keep in mind when you are chosing your size that the measurements listed on the ordering drop down menu will be the fit when the corset is laced as tight as is physically possible. If you want a snug fit or a bit of sexy skin showing in the back, go down one MORE size. I'm a smidge under 5'4, weigh 157lb and am on the larger side of a c cup. The corset is a bit longer than I wanted, but for the price I really feel this is a sexy, comfortable choice. I highly recommend this product. Oh and happy surprise, it's machine washable, though I will likely hand wash mine. ... show more

I love this fashion corset. It runs a little large, I ended up returning the one in the pictures as it was too big (if I wasn't wearing a shirt underneath o_o not good I could rotate it completely around) When I received the next size down it fit perfectly. It isn't meant for waist training, it is meant for fashion. For the price and what it is, this is a great product! I have not had any issues with either corset that I have purchased regarding the metal clasps popping apart but I wonder if those who were having that problem were trying to put it on that way instead of tying the back last, as it should be. I have attached pictures, but this is of the one that is too large.. so keep that in mind! I used it for my Halloween costume.... I also added a picture of who I was supposed to be (Selena from Underworld)... Hope this helps in your decision whether or not to buy! ... show more
