My old chair became squeaky so I need a new one. Bought this for the seat height specs mentioned in the title. It’s the lowest height I can get on Amazon. My feet are not dangling so it’s okay. But it can’t go as low as I want it to be (14inch I guess, but I couldn’t find any chair on Amazon with that kind of seat height). I really like the seat cushion. Feel much more comfortable than my previous chair.

When I got the item, it came broken. It was a serious pain to put it back in the box and ship it back out for a new chair. After I got the new one, I was able to put it together; I've been sitting on it for months now. It is a comfortable chair has a handful of things I can adjust to increase my comfort. Now, the issue I have is the mesh is being pulled so much it tears a little, cleaning the gaps behind the chair recently I cut my finger doing it. It is not smooth in those areas, and it makes a loud squeak every time I adjust my body in the chair. The arm rests are difficult to clean and get dirty easily. This chair is big and I mean big; I didn't realize how big it was going to be.

Replaced for one almost identical from 2011, minor differences but was as comfy as the old one. Love it!

This is the only low-range office chair I've found so far that goes down far enough for me to have my feet on the floor (5'1"). It would be perfect, except that the armrests are absolutely awful. They are hard molded plastic shaped to hold your arms straight parallel to your legs. I don't know if whoever designed them has ever sat in an office chair before, but very literally no one on the planet who uses an office chair works at a desk with their arms perfectly parallel to their legs at all times. This means that when you're actually working, your arms or elbows are resting uncomfortably on the hard molded plastic of the ridges of the armrest. I even tried to cannibalize my old office chair's armrests, but the holes for the screws were just a quarter inch off lining up correctly. If the armrests were padded, or just not molded to try and force your arms straight, this would be a great chair. I'm keeping it for the height, but I'll continue looking for a version that doesn't try to torture the user with its armrests.
