Super comfortable chair. The instructions are slightly confusing and the chair came covered in a light dust that smelled slightly so needed to be cleaned.

    • Squeaks
The chair sets and feels great but it squeaks like a MFer. I have oiled and prayed WD40 and other lubricants all over the hinge but the squeak returns after about 15 minutes. the squeak started as soon I it was used and has not stopped for more than a few minutes.

The Alera Elusion chair is a nice chair and an okay value for the money, but doesn't feel as well-made as chairs which cost only marginally more. I project it will last me for a few years, but probably not much longer beyond that.

    • Most uncomfortable chair I've ever sat in.
I'm a bigger guy (6'-1"), and with the chair at its lowest setting I felt like I was towering over my desk. My knees hit the underside of my desk. The seat has a thick hard plastic rim around it, and after a few minutes, it cut the circulation to my legs. My back has never hurt worse than it did after sitting in this chair. ... show more
