I was hesitant that this could get hot enough to do any good but boy was I wrong! It’s a breeze to set up and break down and folds up for easy storage. It even comes with its own little chair for comfort. The chair even has a pocket to keep the remote handy. It has 9 heating levels that can be adjusted between 1-60 minutes with the included remote control. I’ve noticed some relief n my knee pain since I started using it and my skin is glowing. I like to apply a moisturizing serum to my face before going in for extra hydration.

I picked up this sauna to enhance our home gym setup. We have a number of equipment pieces, as well as a Tempo studio, but wanted a steam sauna for the health effects. The assembly is very easy. Essentially, my wife put it together without issue and she is the first person to tell you she isn't good doing that type of thing. The tent is easy to put over the frame when assembled and you are in business. The steamer is also easy to set up and use, with the steam head sitting within the tent. The chair is a simple sling chair and is comfortable for what it is. I am a little over 200 lbs and sat in it without issue. It is important to follow the instructions and place the steam box inside the tent directly under the chair. Anywhere else and you won't get the full effect of the steam. My wife sits her Ipad outside the window of the tent and reads books while steaming, which she deems very effective. Overall, this is a pretty decent steam sauna that is easy to setup and use. We keep it in our guest room since it sits directly off our gym and haven't had any issues with water or the steam affecting the floor.

This is a "portable sauna." It's basically built by assembling some small metal tubes and PVC and placing sauna material around it. It's not going to hold up to much abuse, but it will hold the steam in. The steam device works well and gets really hot. I'd recommend it for those on a budget. I like it much better than the steam chair bag type saunas. This seems more like a real sauna.

I was apprehensive about ordering this aledaras Portable Full Size Steam Sauna. But I’m happy to report that most of my hesitation was unfounded. The assembly went much faster than I thought, especially considering the poorly written and illustrated instructions. There are a bunch of metal poles in two different sizes. Sixteen short poles marked “A” and eight long poles marked “B.” The illustrated instructions show some of the “B” poles to be “R” poles, but there are no “R” poles. So, obviously, that is a misprint. That was a little confusing since I like to lay everything out and identify each piece before assembly. So, momentarily, I thought some poles were missing, and my apprehension was justified. However, I quickly figured it out since no poles were marked with an “R.” The poles are connected using plastic connectors that they call sockets. They are reminiscent of PVC plumbing connectors. The instruction illustrations adequately show how to connect the frame. Once the frame is assembled inside the sauna room (which I call a tent), The whole assembly is more stable than I thought it would be. The tent walls and top remind me of a lightweight, puffy jacket, slightly insulated. The bottom is like a tent floor. An absorbent pad is included, which you place under the included folding chair. The instruction pamphlet does not mention the pad, so I assume it is to catch water from the condensing steam and your sweat as you sit on the chair. The tent has two zipper doors with a window in each. One of the windows is zippered so that you can open it. The business end of the sauna is a well-made steam maker. It looks like a small kitchen appliance. I am impressed with its design and functionality. It is easy to operate, and the instructions adequately explain the process. It has several steam settings so that you can adjust to your preference. The steam is piped into the tent via two rubber hoses, a connector that attaches to a small hole in the tent wall and terminates in a little round plastic container that disperses the steam and catches condensation. There is a remote control for adjusting the settings, but it doesn’t work from inside the tent, which doesn’t make sense to me. Conclusion: The steam sauna failed to exceed my expectations, which is my requirement for a five-star review. However, it met them, qualifying it for four stars. The mistakes in the instruction pamphlet, the unmentioned floor pad, and the remote control issues are the reasons for the deduction of a star. It was priced a penny shy of two hundred dollars when ordering, which I thought was a bit high. At the time of writing this review, the price has fallen by twenty dollars, and there is a fifteen-dollar coupon that can be applied. That puts it in the range it should be priced at.

Daddy O’s review- this is an affordable sauna! The directions are not written well and there isn’t any directions on how to use the steamer so I just had to play around with it. It takes several minutes to get going once you turn it on. It is very relaxing and makes my skin feel hydrated & soft. It does come with a remote, I haven’t taken it inside with me..I guess you can because the chair that it comes with has a little pocket on the side. I do wish the chair had arms on it so I can rest them but I can switch the chair out if needed. You can take it down after every use if needed and then the assembly would probably get quicker as you get used to it. It would have been nice if it came with a bag to store it and to put all the poles in so don’t get rid of your box. Overall I am extremely impressed & thankful that I did get it. -Oscar
