If you have any kind of skill when it comes to doing anything, this is very eay to install!!! This was the only one I have ever installed and it took me 2-3 hours max. You do have to vacuum the lines, fortunately I have a friend who had the vacuum and gauges. I have not tried the heat feature yet, but the air is ice cold and cools off the entire back 3 rooms of my house. It extremely quiet, the remote works great and there were no leaks upon install or after. My A/C had been struggling to keep up with the heat, so I turned this on in my back bedroom. I set up 2 fans and blew the air all the way through the house and it worked amazingly! Definitely worth the purchase! ... show more

The unit came with Everything that I needed to do the install. The equipment and accessories are first rate and very well made. It all went together without a hitch BUT the manual is pretty much all in "chenglish" and can be hard to interpret. The section on connecting the freon hoses to the compressor were not clear at all and I ended up venting all of my freon into the atmorphere. I had to call the friendly HVAC company and $255 later I have a system that is quiet and works great. So my $400 system punched in at $650 which is still not bad compared to the $1300 that Lowes wanted for the same system. ... show more

This was the second split unit I've installed, both were 12k 110 units. While it does cool well and is quiet, you can tell it's a cheaper unit from the included accessories. For example, the included lineset and cable to power the head unit are thinner gauge copper and higher gauge wire by comparison. The mounting bracket is also thin and easy to bend if your mounting on brick like I am. I needed a longer lineset for the other unit and ended up using the 16' included cable and lineset from the other brand with this unit. The other issue is the remote and app. I still haven't got the unit to connect with the app and the remote isn't great. All that being said, this unit was $300 cheaper and works just as well. I thought about giving it 3 stars, but that doesn't seem fair. It works, it's quiet, and for the pricepoint this is a very good value if you can live with what I listed above. ... show more

It cools the space quickly, runs quietly, and has made a huge difference in comfort. One of the biggest surprises was how straightforward the installation was. From start to finish, it took me about two hours to install, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. If you're reasonably handy, the process is very manageable. Overall, this is a fantastic unit that offers great value, excellent performance, and an easy installation experience. Install was straight forward, even though I made it more difficult because of where I installed the unit. Once connected vacuum held as it should and pre charge released as it should. Had to add additional R32 but that was due to the longer lines I needed. Once running it cooled the house quickly and was so quiet I could barely tell it was running. ... show more

This unit is super easy to install. Don’t let the refrigerant lines scare you!! It only took me 2 hours to make all the connections and get the unit fired up. You will need a dedicated electrical circuit and a AC disconnect by the condenser unit which isn’t too hard as well. I would also recommend installing a surge protector on the ac disconnect just to protect the inverter motherboard from getting fried during a lightning storm. We’ve had some of the hottest days here in South Florida and this unit has been able to keep my 500 square feet garage at 70 degrees even when it’s 100+ outside. The unit is super quiet even in turbo mode. Once it reaches temp and ramps down you really can’t hear it running. I can’t say much about the long term reliability yet but so far I think this unit is a steal for the price and performance!! ... show more

Installed it on 6 July 2026, in my parents mobile home. Total cooling area is around 650 sq feet. Essentially the living room and with their door open their room. The mini split was easy to install if you have the proper tools mentioned in the instructions. YOU WILL NEED TO BUY A POWER CORD. No need for a vacuum with the pre vacuumed model. Be careful not to cross thread the brass fittings. As of now, the mini split cooled down the trailer to 71 degrees with an outdoor temperature of 90 degrees. They plan to turn it on only once the temperature starts raising and shutting it off at night since night temperatures are around 60-50 degrees first thing in the morning. The system seems to be a great value since I don’t have to buy a pump and gauges. YOU WILL NEED TO BUY A POWER CORD. It’s very quiet in the inside and outside. The remote control can be hard to read for older people and it can be lost. Not sure about the energy efficiency yet but it performed well for the first day. YOU WILL NEED TO BUY A POWER CORD.
