I would give it 5 stars when I received it because it looks like a great wiring kit especially for the price. The wires are really thick I feel for a 4 gauge amp kit and the speaker wires are great really thick too. But remote wire even though it’s thick it’s like a cheap rubber that when tryna strip just keeps snapping. The rca cables are cheap and flimsy and had them hooked up for like a month and all of a sudden started making my speakers pop when I turned the volume up like there was a short in them. And idk how that would happen when they’re all tucked under my floor boards but I changed them n no more popping so they’re really the only thing wrong with them. The main issue why I only rate at 4 stars is because there is no way possible this kit can handle the power it says I think it said 4500 watts or something like that. So I have a 2000 watt Taramp amp hooked up to them and yesterday my amp went into protective mode so I’m like WTH so I look under the hood and my damn wires at the fuse box is melted and the fuse that comes with it is too good. Yeah too strong for the kit meaning that once the wires started to even get hot before they melted that fuse should’ve popped so you know there was an issue but it never popped n my truck probably would’ve caught on fire if my amp didn’t go into protective mode. But I’ve had this kit maybe going on 2 months n besides that it’s a great kit I would actually buy it again I just don’t recommend running any amp over 1200 watts rms power on it. ... show more

Legit wiring kit! I wish it included more speaker wire of varying gauges or just more wire in general... but it's really good for the money. Got a line output converter set up to a 750W amp in my 08 Toyota Avalon. The power wire (Red) is just a smidge off of 4 gauge I believe (I could be wrong), but it's certainly thick and ready to handle serious power. The black wire is the perfect length for optimal power output, although I wish it was longer so I could at least have some room to play with. Got this over the Boss audio kit, which I saw in many reviews that the wires were an even smaller gauge than advertised... So glad I did because these are advertised as thicker wires for a very similar price, and they're no gimmick! ... show more

    • A good solid amplifier wiring kit.
the kit was of good quality and the rca connectors were very pliable as well as long enough. My only con would be the connectors supplied, the batter terminal connectors were good, just make sure to solder them into place, it was the ring and speaker terminal connectors that were pretty cheap, luckily I have a good amount of high quality connectors.     • The power and ground wires are copper coated aluminum (CCA)
There is no mention of what type of material the powet and ground wire is made of but I took a chance. So beware buyer, this is copper coated aluminum wire. Works for the small 500w amp I am currently using but will need to be upgraded when I get something more beefy. Also, the connectors, especially those for the 4awg wire are cheaply made, very flimsy. I broke one trying to hook my ground up and had to get a new one from the hardware store....i went ahead and replaced them all. Speaker wire isnt being used but looks like it is better quality and I have no complaints about the rca wire. I mainly just wanted to make people that it matters to that the 4awg wires in this kit are NOT copper wires. They are only copper coated aluminum. ... show more

Thick wires, long enough for most applications, was missing some terminals but I had a few of my own laying around. Other than that, pretty heavy duty wiring kit. Ships in a plastic combination sack.
