Appear strong and well made. Not as easy to install as shown. They were a tight fit and would only go one way. Instructions did not warn about the bars being asymmetric. I had to start over on the installation after installing side. Other than that they look fine and do fit tight.

These look good and seem strong enough to support whatever I might need to put on them. The instructions are a bit confusing. They say the arrow on the mounting support towards the front. Then the next sentence says the arrow direction is from front to back. The parts list has 8 "flat gaskets" and show what appear to be washers on the picture. These "flat gaskets" were not included i With the rails I received and there is no mention of them in the assembly instructions. I have no idea what these are for or why they were not included. I was expecting an easy installation. Sadly the unit I received had to be modified in order for it to fit my 2012 Honda CR-V. Because of my mechanical background I was able to make this work. It did add to the installation time roughly an extra hour. If you're not mechanically inclined I would avoid this product. One other negative is this product whistles as you're driving down the road. I'll probably remove it after my move to Florida from Michigan. ... show more

It took me a few minutes to figure it out, but, assemble the bars, leaving the right side loose. Position the bars on the car, make them fit by tightening the bolts on the right side, piece of cake. They look great and took less than 20 minutes.
