Bought this bed for my 3YO and to use as a guest bed occasionally, and we love it. Super sturdy and stylish, and the storage drawers are roomy. Assembly was pretty easy but took about 2 hours - Some of the wooden pieces were not labeled so we had to play the process of elimination game with pictures from the manual. I should have read the reviews first on what mattresses I should get to have them stacked on each other because we’re not sure where to store a second mattress for the king conversion; we went with a very thick pillow top mattress and there’s no way we can stack another on it. He llamado a Amazon mil veces y me dicen que como es un producto pesado, lo busca otra empresa y que ha sido esa empresa quien no cumple. Yo compré un producto por Amazon y Amazon debe hacerse responsable, no es mi culpa las empresas que ellos contraten. En alguna oportunidad hablé co. Una chica llamada Valeria del costumer service, y me dijo que aunque yo compré por Amazon ellos no me van a regresar mi dinero hasta que la cama llegue a ellos, y si tardaban un año en buscarla yo tenia que esperarme una año en tener mi dinero de vuelta. Solo una persona llamada Mauricio fue eficiente, de resto todos los demás me hicieron sentir que era mi culpa haber comprado una cama rota y que no me quejara. Entonces, si estás pensando en comprar esto, piénsatelo bien, porque si llega sin defectos genial! Pero, si esta partida, si no es lo que esperabas, si le faltan piezas, y quiere hacer un retorno, la pasarás muy mal, porque no te regresan tu dinero hasta que tengan el paquete, te obligan a estar presente para retirar el paquete, pierdes todo el día esperando, y al final nunca llegan, así, por tres semanas hasta ahora. The bed frame is as described. The assembly process for this bed is not great. While the manual and directions are clear, the amount of time required to assemble this bed is significant. I assembled this mostly unassisted, but had to ask my SO for an assist in a few spots to hold the frame. From start to finish this took 3-4 hrs to assemble. For the price point it functions as intended, I would just recommend purchasing some extra wood glue. They give technically enough, but by the end I was really stretching a dwindling supply. Absolutely love this bed! Very comfortable as we like to entertain and this is great for our guests and our guest room. We purchased the 10 inch mattress’s (super comfy). I also purchased the assembly package. It took 2 guys 3 hours to put together and thankfully before they left, I pulled out the bed to make sure it was correct. It was not so they went back to correct their error and now it is perfect after they added the additional slats. They mentioned it was one of the more complicated items to assemble. ... show more

It’s like an IKEA product: you’re going to love and hate it at the same time. Assembly was not fun. Five hours later, the frame is pretty much put together with the exception of the drawers. We left the drawers alone for a couple weeks because we’d had our fill of assembling a huge piece of furniture to last the rest of our lives. All through the process we wondered why we needed a bed that could magically turn from a king to a twin. At least my mom was impressed when she saw it. It creaks and the paint is not thick; you can see the knots in the wood. The outer pieces look flimsy but the whole thing stays together somehow. I wondered again why we’d gotten rid of the bed frame we built using 2x6’s and a Kreg jig. The drawers were finally put together but they don’t stay together. The front pieces want to come off so we’ll have to gorilla glue or wood glue them and hope they don’t fall apart. All this for $400?! Please don’t purchase this new. Look for a used one (buy mine, please!) so you get all the benefits of this frame without losing your mind first. ... show more

Building the bed: this was a bit more challenging and took more time than advertised, but instructions were clear and the result was great! The under-bed storage is a fantastic feature. We have laughed often since using this guest bed: the smiling woman in the "demo video" single-handedly (literally) pulls out the drawers and flips the mattresses to set up the bed. Easy-breezy. The media could not be loaded. I've put together a good deal of furniture and this was one of the hardest pieces and instructions to follow, including the quality of the material. The idea is super, but the function is not. Several predrilled holes were off, hardware screws subpar, instructions vague, and drawers/pull out parts fell apart after first use. I tightened the screws correctly and they came loose and don't grab the screw and fit the spot for the drawer front. The pictures are what's happened when u used the drawer for the first time. A twin mattress doesn't fit comfortably and there is a big gap so that will be an issue with use and things falling down the side. I wanted to love this product, but I would not recommend this bed. I would have returned it if I hadn't been so exasperated putting it together. The thought of packing it all back up and taking it apart made me want to cry. I didn't want to look at it and the cost was far too high for the quality. ... show more
