I love my new bed. As long as you know how to follow the given directions, it can be put together by two people (without experience) in about 2-3 hours. My only complaint is that the drawers underneath it aren’t very sturdy, but the rest of the bed is.

Not an easy project, for 1 person but I managed. The bed feels sturdy and well built but it was very time consuming to set up. The instructions to build the pullout slats were confusing but the rest of the bed was smooth sailing. I was missing a halfmoon nut for inside drawer, contacted the manufacturer and they shipped it fedex overnight, which was a nice surprise. (I purchased 2 classic brands cool gel memory 6inch mattresses to stack on top, would recommend them w this frame) ... show more

Assembly wasn’t too complicated, took me 5 hours to do it alone so definitely takes a bit of time. Can be a pain to pull out depending on the type of flooring you have since the wheels are so small. Used this for my sister (who weighs just over 100 lbs) for 8 days now, and the middle support has cracked in half so the bed is now in two pieces. Going to try and reinforce with a 2x4 as someone else had said in the reviews. Shouldn’t have to deal with this when spending around $400 on a product though. Wouldn’t buy again or recommend. Edit: The drawers have also fallen apart so we are no longer able to use them. Overall the idea is nice but execution was done poorly. ... show more

It's ok, and is going to do what I mostly needed it for. It was ok to put together, but the cam bolts they provide do not lock in place, so the drawers keep falling apart when I pull them out, and several of the boards came with patches on them that were poorly done. When you pull out for the larger size, it's next to impossible to get it back to the smaller size so be careful!! Moving it in any way to adjust the location causes this issue too! Building the bed: this was a bit more challenging and took more time than advertised, but instructions were clear and the result was great! The under-bed storage is a fantastic feature. We have laughed often since using this guest bed: the smiling woman in the "demo video" single-handedly (literally) pulls out the drawers and flips the mattresses to set up the bed. Easy-breezy. In our experience, this is a two-person task that includes a lot of grunting. The bed is quite attractive as a daybed/couch in our guest room as well. ... show more

I like this day bed. It solved the purpose but gave a 4 star as it is a bit tough to pull out on carpet and little wiggly due to weight restrictions. Other than that it looks great.

Bought this bed for my 3YO and to use as a guest bed occasionally, and we love it. Super sturdy and stylish, and the storage drawers are roomy. Assembly was pretty easy but took about 2 hours - Some of the wooden pieces were not labeled so we had to play the process of elimination game with pictures from the manual. I should have read the reviews first on what mattresses I should get to have them stacked on each other because we’re not sure where to store a second mattress for the king conversion; we went with a very thick pillow top mattress and there’s no way we can stack another on it. Assembly was not that bad. Everything else was a disaster. I have had the bed step up for a month and a half now and have used it maybe 10-15 times as it reserved for family guest. It already broke. It was pretty much 300 dollars down the drain. While it was in king mode use the mattresses slide and move out of place. When in twin mode use the mattresses stacked cover the entirety of the bed frame. It was never used as a single bed but it was stored away as such. Switching between twin and king is not easy and required two people as the wooden slats hit each other. Drawers just rest on the floor not in the bed. Overall cheap quality frame is weak and obviously broke within no time ... show more
