Get it!!! As a heavy sleeper alarm clocks rarely ever work for me. This clock is amazing. It's loud and it shakes the bed ...its even bright. Does the job immediately. The best part is for the 1st 2 days I couldn't figure out how to turn the alarm off so I kept hitting snooze. Every few minutes it would go off! Love it and the cost.

I got this product because I needed a large-format display clock that I could easily read from my bed. The bedside table for my existing alarm clock was too low and I had to get up to see it. Instead, I wanted something with a big display that I could place on top of a nearby tall chest. The clock has a barrel-type connector that goes to a USB-A power adapter. The cord is only about 4.5 feet long, so I had to get another pigtail to plug into the wall for it to reach normal outlet height when placed on top of the chest. This helped me make everything flat behind the chest though since I had an angled pigtail and the USB-A adapter was fairly flat, so I could still push the chest against up against the baseboard and wall. The orange display is pleasant and has adjustments for a range of brightness appropriate for a bedroom, and the clock also allows for 24-hour time. The display itself is about 7 inches wide by 3.5 inches tall. For my use I did not need the pillow shaker, but the clock fit the display size, as well as the color and style aesthetics I desired. The time itself was easy enough to set, but I had to consult the directions to shut the two alarms off. There is a wide range of sound effects from rain, birds, louder and softer melodies or tones, and even an alarm klaxon that sounds like someone tripped an alarm at a military base -- so there's something for everyone. There was a volume control for the alarm sounds, as well as a coin-cell battery backup to preserve the clock settings through a power outage. Recommended.

I have tried so may alarm clocks over the years, especially lately. They all seem to have something about them that makes them a pain to use, or makes them useless for my needs. Finally, I have found an alarm clock that I have very little to gripe about. First, what I love: The display is large and easy to read, but can be adequately dimmed so that it doesn't burn into your retinas in the dark. There are multiple alarm sounds, from gentle atmospheric sounds to obnoxious "pee the bed" alerts. The volume of the alarm has a great range of adjustments. I like the versitility. The alarm is easy and intuitive to set, and easy to turn on and off. The dual alarm feature is a welcome bonus. The vibratiing "bed shaker" is awesome - if I'm exhausted and have to get up early for something important, this thing will definitely run me out of bed (if it doesn't give me a heart attack). I like that the bed shaker attachement also has a flashing light - that adds an additional assurance of waking me up. There are only 2 things that I wish were different. Not enough to keep me from loving this thing, but still...: The snooze button is too small. I am one of those types to hits the snooze button 4 or 5 times before I get up - the button is small enough that I have to feel for it, and if I hit the wrong thing it will disable the snooze and disable the alarm. That's no bueno. Don't get me wrong, the button isn't tiny (about 3/4 inch wide) and it is in the dead center of the rest of the buttons - I just wish it was a couple of inches wide so that I couldn't miss it. The other thing is that if you use the bed shaker, you get all three alarms - sound, flashing light, and vibration. It would be great to be able to get the light without the vibration or the alarm sound, or the vibration without the other 2, etc. Again, definitely not a deal killer by any means - just something that would be nice. Overall I am very please with this alarm clock and I'll finally be able to stop trying different ones - I've found the one that works for me!
