It is a light paddle suitable for beginners. I also let my young students test it and they found it easy to use. The grip is friendly and comfortable to their smaller hands. The sweetspot is large and the bounce is even on a wide area. Don't feel dead spot. The power is reasonable with this weight. I can easily serve with power and drive accurately from the baseline. It is a great paddle: comfortable grip, Toray T700 raw carbon grit, and even bounce from the center to edge of paddle. After using it for a few days, I found the paddle offering very easy control for placing. I recommend this paddle for the beginners who should put control over power in their early pickleball journey. With two free handle wraps and a paddle cover, it is a great value for money too.
