I have always loved the versatility of tension rods! This one worked great as a deterrent for our little dogs getting through the fence and into the pool. We have purchased three sets of six so far and will continue to buy them until we have no more gaps around the pool. They seem to hold up to weather (heavy rain and hot FL sun!) so far, although it’s only been about two weeks. These also seemed to be the best price/rod as well. Suprised. Works well! Hold solidly with curtains that are opened/closed often. My room is in an attic, so my windows are recessed and angled. That works perfectly! Can finally sleep on the week ends :)

To me a tension rod is a tension rod. These are nice, seem sturdy, came quickly, look nice, fit my windows and curtains and the price was reasonable. I did buy them again, and would recommend them to anyone.

These are so much better than the cheap walmart ones that bend and wont stay up with my heavy room darkening panels that reach the floor. I love the look of these tension rods. The black finish is smooth, and very smart looking. I failed to get a true accurate measurement of my window. This rod works fine... my valance is very light weight, and I will not have a problem with using it. However, if you find that your use, includes extending the rod to its longest length, it will wobble or bow with any weight. That is my only finding that is negative, and it is MY fault for not thinking ahead. Get good measurements! :-) ... show more

    • You get what you pay for
They are somewhat flimsy and cheaply made and won't work for what I wanted to use them for. I returned them. They might be work for necklaces, bracelets, light scarves or other lightweight items.
