  • Junk
Size: 69.8"L x 42"W x 54.6"H
Made of beaver puke, but it saved my chickens when a tree branch/ electric wires came down . Sturdy at this time, but the latches wouldn't stop a flea.. had to reinforce for predators. Save your $.. and sanity.. buy a real house...

  • Quick to Assemble!
Size: 69.8"L x 42"W x 54.6"H
Update:4/22/25 I just wanted to say we are still using these though, they are starting to fall apart. Mainly the bottoms of the nest boxes. So, lifespan over the harsh wet and windy PNW is about 2.5years. These were excellent starter coops and could possibly have lasted longer if we had them under cover and also, maybe added some bracing to support the nest box area to keep them from sagging. Update: I wanted to add an update. We have been using these coops almost a year now. They are holding up, ok for what they are. Two big bummers about them though, the hardware is t the best. The tiny screws to attach the hinges for the nesting box hatch are a joke. They stripped out after about 3 months. A small bolt would be better. Number 2 is that poop gets stuck between the mesh and the board that supports the little lading part of the ramp…..:can’t get it out. Otherwise it’s been a good starter coop and learned using a fine shaving in the tray with a kitty litter scoop really makes cleaning it super easy. Fluffy shavings get jammed up in the tray and it’s hard to remove. We have had up to 6 chickens in these but unless they are bantams I would say that’s the most due to sleeping space. If we can make them last through another winter though, we will likely build something bigger. I want to start off with the fact I’m always skeptical of prefabricated coops like this. They seem cheap and like they won’t last long. However, this one after we assembled it seem quite sturdy. It was super easy to put together, I have the instructions a 4 out of 5 because they were the best worded I’ve had for anything you put together yourself. But the diagrams could have been a little more detailed. We have 6 chickens presently with plans to get 3-4 more. We bought 2 because even though this says you can have 7-8 per coop, it would be a bit crammed. However, if you have plenty of space for them to roam during the day and this is solely for sleeping or nesting then it works. As you can see in the photos we added a temporary run, our chickens are only 10wks old. The reason we opted to buy a kit is that 1: it worked out costing less than building our own, 2: we don’t really have the time or cooperation of the weather to build one at this time and we needed them pronto! The 2 main things I would change if I could would be the inside roof to be maybe 6” taller. We are having a little dilemma about putting in a heat lamp without risk of burning them. The second would be wider doors on top and bottom. The tray on top will help with cleaning the top half, but, underneath you can’t fit a full sized pitch fork, you have to use a smaller one. The only thing I would say was wrong with it when we got it was there was a little damage to one of the pieces from shipping. As shown in the photo. However they are packed quite well. We simply flipped that piece over and used it anyhow. ... show more

  • Easy to assemble
Size: 69.8"L x 42"W x 54.6"H
This was by far the easiest chicken coop to assemble straight out of the box. The chicken coop frame and run were foldable, and so easy to assemble. The instructions that came with it were easy to follow, and the final product is nice (like a mini-playhouse). Because the chicken coop is made from wood, I spent the extra time to give it a good waterproofing coating (as you would do with other durable wood items, such as a bench), and let it dry and air out for a week before introducing my flock to it. PS, instead of buying a chicken run at ridiculous prices, I expanded my chicken run by buying an outdoor dog fence kit that are sturdier and easy to assemble (at a fraction of the chicken run price). This is backyard chicken, so I do not have to worry about predators such wolves, foxes, or eagles. ... show more

  • Sufficient for now with modifications-Shipping fees $
Size: 68.1"L x 53.9"W x 49"H
Sufficient for now with modifications-the fee charged to ship made this coop over priced $$$ the design is mostly good. We needed insulation because the wood is thin. We needed to add ventilation holes at the roof line because chicken poo has high ammonia & can be toxic to them. The door that is the ramp has a gap & we needed to seal the gap so that the birds aren’t in a draft when perched. The nesting boxes are only accessible from the top & difficult to clean-even though the bottom is removable it is not a simple process. The window on the main door has only a thick plastic-we added metal mesh & sealed edges to prevent injury or drafts. The wheels are a nice idea but one had a broken axle. Thankful that we have a full enclosure to put this coop in because it would not hold up under a black bear trying to get to chickens. ... show more

  • Do. Not. Buy. Save your money & time
Size: 68.1"L x 53.9"W x 49"H
The media could not be loaded. This product is very poorly made with cheap materials. I would not purchase again. Assembly very easy but wood is soft and cheap causing screws to strip very easy. Nesting box screws already popped out. Junk. I’ll be lucky if it last through the winter. When I contacted the company they offered me $15 back for a $275 coop. ... show more
