  • Good for 4 chickens
Perfect for my 4 chickens!

  • Assembly and size
We've got eleven hens and a rooster. The eleven hens all get into the coup at night and all seem to be happy. We let them all out during the day. Install wasn't that bad but I highly recommend a drill because you definitely don't want to do this by hand. Instructions were simple to follow. Only recommendation is to buy a good deck stain and stain before building. There's a cheap and thin layer of primer paint on this soft pine wood. Overall not a bad set up. • Thick wire, I don't think an animal could get through this!

  • Not enough room....
Thus is listed as a coop built for 8-10 chickens however, it's not. Yes, it has 6 nesting boxes but it's definitely too small for 10 chickens, I'd say 2, 4 absolute max. It's not very durable, as you would have expected it to be. Overall, when your in a punch, it worked, but wood that was more sturdy for the run would be better. ... show more

  • Not weather proof
This would be a fine coop if you live somewhere that doesn’t rain or snow. The wood warped immediately after assembly from being in the rain for a week. None of the doors function now.

  • this is the porrest coop I have even see.
This is the poorest cop that I have ever seen. The material is 1/2" board, with the top being flex aluminum that bend even with a trim around the edges. The kit arrived at the house after the order was canceled. They didn't include instructions for assembly, hardware to put together, and the pieces didn't fit. The window covering was larger than the frame to hold it together, and was just laying in the box. The floor of the coop was about 6" smaller on both sides than the walls. We were charged for the coop, 2 days after the order cancellation was excepted. We have tried for 7 weeks to contact them, with NO HELP> They sent us a letter stating they would give us 10% of cost of coop and we could keep the pieces, which was less than $100.00 of a $1044.10 charge. ... show more
