I am rating this 4 stars as it is a good coop, it is not 5 stars exceptional. We received box 2 on the day it was expected. We received box 1, 5 days later. Putting it together was easy. The instructions are not that hard to follow. Only 4 holes were not pre-drilled. The material is what I expected, this is not made with 2x4 lumber, not was I expecting to be. It appears it will hold up well with our weather. The u-shaped stakes are not much, so I replaced them with 16" stakes to hold the coop in place. The run is small, but the measurements are what the seller quoted. We like the access doors. We will be purchasing a fenced in chicken run to complete our chicken farm. I will try to update this review after the coop has survived all 4 seasons

This coop is adorable, BUT I am so unhappy that I spent so much money on something I am this displeased with. The materials are so cheap… I’ve had the coop assembled for under 2 weeks, and when it rains, the wood swells, and I cannot even get the doors to close or lock, because the wood is swollen. I honestly could have built something a lot more durable for a lot less money. I do NOT recommend this coop, and assembly was extremely difficult. I would love to send it back, and request a refund, but due to the cheap materials, the rain has already damaged the coop A LOT, and predators have already been chewing through the cheap wood, and trying to get the chickens.

Very intimidating with all the parts and hardware, however the instructions are very good and with all the screws being of Phillips type, it’s easy to assemble. This is our second product from this company and we are still very satisfied! Good quality and the details are excellent.

We loved this coop at first. But just 9 months later and the coop is falling apart. The handle that opens and closes the doors came off. And one of the lids on the nesting boxes came right off also. For what we paid for this coop it should have lasted longer than 9 months. It looks like we will just end up building one from scratch come spring time. Just hope this one lasts that long. And no the run on this coop is not big enough for 10-15 chickens unless they are all Bantams. We purchased a bigger enclosure and attached it onto the run. My chickens love the extra space to roam, while still being enclosed and safe from predators.

Pretty easy to assemble however some of the steps I may have put in a different order. The wood is pretty cheap and flimsy. It is still being used by the chickens but is slated for replacement. The hinged roofs have both split and one side has completely split along the hinge edge and just sits on the top. the ramp has never really worked well and has cracked and split in several places. It was a good stop gap but probably not worth the cost unless you have a way of covering and protecting the coop itself with a 3 wall shed or something similar but at that point just put a door/gate up and use nesting boxes in the shed

Easy build, so far I got 7 chicks in that are 4 weeks old, It will be a tight fit when they get to be adults. However, we plan on building an additional run and letting them free range in the day. I would think it was suited for 4-5 if you planned on them staying inside.
