I’ve used this welder to repair a broken gate hinge and also to build a small metal frame for my shed. For such a compact unit, it delivers a strong and steady arc. The controls are simple to understand, and I had no issues getting good penetration with 3/32 rods. I’m not a professional welder, but for DIY tasks around the house, this machine has been more than enough. It’s lightweight and easy to carry around, which makes setup quick and convenient.
