Great portable welding machine. Works better than I expected. With the rods that the machine came with I was able to lay down a clean consistent bead. Little to no slag on 1/8” steel structural angle with 3/4” 1/8 wall tubing.

This is my first welder, and I love it! It’s super easy to learn and use. Since I was totally new to welding, I watched many videos to get started. The machine has helpful safety features and comes with a clear manual, I didn’t really understand all the technical settings as a beginner, but the SYN feature made things super simple, which made me feel confident. I started by practicing a few times on some scrap metal, and once I felt more confident, I decided to repair my fence. Overall, it’s a great choice for beginners. Highly recommend! 👍
