  • Good deal
Size: AIR96 Color: Grey
The media could not be loaded. So I read the reviews on this and wasn’t particularly confident of my purchase. It came in two separate boxes but that wasn’t made clear so I waited about another 3 to 4 days for the second package to arrive. It took me a whole day to put this together. So maybe 6 hours. But it was a lot of fun to see it come together. Like an adult lego project. I highly recommend a power drill as hand tightening screws took longer. However, use a low setting on the drill to be careful not to split the wood. I had no issues with this but did have a corner damaged and tried to glue it. Didn’t affect function and hard to notice cosmetically. I was impressed with the instructions, and how each step was thought out and holes were pre-drilled where they needed to be. The roofing and design has kept water out even in bad storms. The nesting boxes are easily accesible and the main area is easy to clean. While putting it together and moving it about after assembly, it definitely is a bit fragile. However this can be a plus when considering weight. It’s made of cedar so won’t quickly. I’ve had my hens in it, outdoors for about a month now and no predators have made their way in. The functionality, appeal of this design and the price compared to other hen houses. It’s easy to give this a five. ... show more

  • Chicken Coop review
Size: AIR69 Color: Grey
Easy to assemble, can be done by one person, Good design and it works and the size is just right for the enclosure. Not a particularly strongly built structure. The wood split just from putting the screws in so it won't last very long. But its adequate to the task while it does.

  • It's decent yet not perfect or safe enough without a helping hand
Size: AIR69 Color: Grey
It's big enough for maybe three chickens or four 6 might be pushing it and as for the sturdiness not really great it feels like arts and crafts wood rather than anything heavy duty and you have to screw more nails in because it doesn't secure the top half as well the design is beautiful yet the wood is a bit chipped yet that's to be expected and as for the roof it tends to flake off a bit so that's the black little specks you'll find in the box it's not entirely safe so I would recommend building a chicken coop run that also protects the coop but overall it's fine for it's price just wouldn't say it's as good as a built by someone chicken coop ... show more

  • We adore this coop
Size: AIR66 Color: Grey
This coop is exactly what we needed for our six Easter Egger Hens. We felt it was easy to put together and was a well organized kit. We did make some changes that gave it even more stability. We placed it on a frame made with hardware cloth to avoid predators digging under and the wood will extend the life of the coop. We added L braces to some places for reinforcement and added handles to some places. ... show more

  • Nice Design but needs a little work!!!
Size: AIR28 Color: Grey
This is a nice coop, would fit about 3 full size chickens maybe 4 at most. I’m using it for 3 ducks. First of all cons: it’s painted but if you want it to last I would seal it or paint it using exterior paint. When the roof is down there is a large gap in the front. If you plan to use the run attached I believe that gap is covered. But my coop will be in a bigger run so I had to fill that gap. Ihave not used it yet because I’ve been painting and sealing it better, and as you can see from the pictures the vinyl is lifting up. It is removable so you may want to buy something a little thicker that sits better. There are two openings with no doors to close if you wanted to secure the coop. The outer run has lockable doors though. I added a small strip of wood to secure the gap by the roof. I added a door to one of the openings using an old coop door I had. I repainted the whole thing using exterior paint. And sealed the floors and a couple panels that had minor gaps. Overall I like the coop but it needs a little work. I will keep it under a covered run, which should help the longevity of its life. I had extra corrugated roofing from another project so I reinforced the flimsy roof that it comes with. The wood is thin but so are the majority of coops you buy. So take it for what it’s worth. Once I start using it, I’ll update. ... show more

  • Cheaply made
Size: AIR61-C Color: Grey
It is already falling apart so the material is not durable. It also does not keep rain out.

  • Great for a suburban back yard
Size: AIR66 Color: Grey
I was nervous about ordering this coop but was pleasantly surprised! The wood is thin and there are MANY pieces but the overall assembly took about 45 minutes with my husband and I. This is a wonderful coop for our small neighborhood yard. I do not think it would work if you have to worry about predators. The coop would not stop a large or crafty animal from getting to your chickens. With that being said, it has held up well through storms and keeps our space looking clean and well kept. The chickens LOVE it and are happy as can be! ... show more

  • Good starter coop for a few hens - but plan to replace the hinges.
Size: AIR66 Color: Grey
The media could not be loaded. This was easy to set up by myself using just a power screwdriver - it took me about two hours. The hinges on the nesting box covers were very weak and I ended up replacing them with stronger hinges from my local hardware store but otherwise everything is in working condition! It's a great beginner coop and I have 5 hens who are comfy inside in the evenings. I wouldn't recommend this as the only square footage for that many chickens but with our enclosed run and the ability to free-roam the yard anytime we're home, this is great. Without a run, I would only recommend this for 2-3 birds as the "downstairs" is pretty small. ... show more
