I have purchased 43 inch Flickering Flame Torches from 2 other companies before. I must say that the torches I bought from Aityvert are far more superior to other companies. I purchased a set of 4 torches. They arrived in pristine condition and fully charged. Per the directions, I had them in direct sun for 8 consecutive hours before placing them on the outskirts of my garden. These torches truly look like real flames for starters, and look and flicker exactly as you would see them if you have ever visited Hawaii. Where I chose to permanently place them, this area never has direct sunlight, and I live in Florida. I can tell you that just daylight and warmth alone is enough to make these torches beautiful in the winter months. You will get minimum 5- 6 hours of beautiful realness. In the summer months you will get between 12 hours! It is important to know that these torches are 96LED. This is a rechargeable solar battery, and is the highest strength. Anything lower gives you a dimmer and very fake looking light. Buying lower than 96LED actually looks like torches that are old and about to just die! So if you're looking for long term beautiful realness.......... buying from Aityvert is your best bet ALWAYS!!! ... show more

We discovered these solar torches when on vacation in the Maldives and were anxious to see if we would like them better than our tiki torches which require fuel. YES!!! YES is the answer! I put the tops outside on a sunny day in Ohio and tried them that night! WOW!! I was extremely surprised to see them still lit the next morning before dawn broke. They are extremely simple to "assemble" by just inserting the links and pushing the stake into the ground. My only suggestion is to have the on/off button make a "click" so you can tell it's on. The media could not be loaded. These are great! We took a chance on an open box Warehouse price, and they installed super easy and started working right away without any initial charge. Very bright, large, and the flickering effect would impress me as a passerby! Only concern I would have is stability with the extended height since it’s all plastic components. But we were happier with the lowest height anyway and didn’t need the included extensions. I’m tentatively eating the longevity a 4, as we need time to test them out. ... show more

These are not very bright but add nice ambience. They are even surviving our brutal wisconsin winters. Obviously there are many overcast days where the lights barely receive a charge but still try to work for an hour or so. On bright days they will last 3-5 hours in winter and up to 7 in summer.
