The best pool filler we have used in the last 25 year. It is easy to put together. It is easy to change the fill level. And they truly stand behind the lifetime warranty. I bought one in 2021 and the float stopped moving as it should in March 2025. I contacted them and they offered a replacement or refund. I ended up having to buy another one through Amazon as I needed it sooner than they could get the replacement to me and then they refunded me for what I paid for the new one. Update: adding another star because Airlie responded the next business day to my request to get a new valve washer. The offered me a complete new unit and said it should last many years. I'm declining that offer since I've been able to do a repair on this and an older unit I now have two functioning filler and I don't need a third. Having read a LOT of reviews and comments on this and other similar units that use a float valve design it seem failure of the rubber washer/gasket/seal is a common issue. I think one issue is it can get windy where I am - we'll get actual substantial waves on the pool and the Airlie could be activating thousands of times a day when it is like that. There is one company Staypoolizer who offer a unit where the plastic water inlet which pushes into the rubber is replaced with stainless steel - they specifically claim it eliminates "cutting". But I'm not going to spend $150 on one of those to find out - I'll just keep checking my Airlie's valve rubber seal and rotate preemptively to prevent failure when I'm not expecting it. BTW almost every filler I've look at has some kind of complaints about mechanical failures of some sort. This is a relatively cheap and simple solution that you can maintain to last years - and it saves you the effort of fabricating your own from a trough filler and other random parts. The only system I've seen that is relatively fool proof involves an electronic sensor and a smart water supply controller that turns on periodically, senses the water level and then fills until the water is high enough and shuts off. It does that on a schedule so between times it is not doing anything. But even that has an electronic wireless sensor with batteries and requires a smart home automation service to manage it so plenty of modes of failure there. Plus it costs way more than this Airlie. It's a different tactic but ultimately everything can fail. Added a photo of the rubber that was cut through - see the circle about the screw which is where the water inlet presses up against the rubber. Loosen the screw and rotate to get some fresh rubber under the inlet and you're done! Original review: Giving this 3 stars for now pending resolution of my recent problem - but before then I'd have given it 5. I've had this product 11 months and it has been working faithfully through a hot Vegas summer and cool winter. I added a hose quick connect with a shut-off valve on it at the leveler so I could easily turn off the water to the filler when I'm in the pool - that stops the pssst, psssst, pssst as waves in the pool trigger it. All good - simple and effective. But in the last few weeks I noticed my Airlie was hissing quietly even at night. Its not that hot here yet and I wouldn't have thought our water level was low. I started to wonder if I had a pump leak or something. Then this week I noticed it was clearly putting a lot of water in the pool all the time and my skimmers were full to the top. So I checked out Airlie and sure enough it was not shutting off, even if I hold the float closed and tight. I see there's a small black rubber valve (looks like a suction cup) that covers an inlet hole - having hard water I wondered if the valve is clogged with calcium build up or something. So I gave it a good clean plus a rinse with some descaler. Unfortunately no joy - still doesn't shut off properly. Then I suspect maybe my water pressure increased - when I moved in I had to add a whole-house pressure reducer because it was at 90 psi! I bought a pressure gauge and it says 52 psi. On this web page it says up to 60 psi is okay. AFAIK about 50 psi is what they set it too when I added the house pressure reducer and there's no reason for it to have changed. I noticed someone else asking about replacing the rubber valve - I'm wondering if it wears out or is defective? I really don't want to have to buy another one - and if I do it probably wouldn't be this brand unless they can send me a part to fix it. Plus the filler not shutting off - that's a big deal. No one wants to think about coming home to a flooded back yard and huge water bill! Anyway I have contacted Airlie directly via their website and I'll see what they say - I'll add more info as this story develops. ... show more

This works as design. These are very important so that your skimmer does not suck air and you return to a green pool and a burned out pump. I did have an issue with the hose so I filled out the form on the Airlie website. I immediately got the following response. “I am very sorry to hear that you’re having issues with the pool leveler. I just sent the replacement via expedited shipping and it should get there 7/27.” Wow! I was so impressed. Two days later the entire replacement arrived. Fantastic service. ... show more

Ordered the Airlie back in November 2022. Easy to install and set the leveler and was good to go. Worked great since Nov 2022 with no problems until the stainless steel mesh pipe sprung a leak the other day August 4, 2024. I reached out to the supplier to see if I could purchase a replacement pipe. They responded and offered to refund my money or send a new unit. I certainly wasn't expecting such a great response. I opted to receive a new unit as I like their product and it works very well. Not many companies offer such excellent service. Thank you Jack. I will certainly be recommending this water leveler to friends and family for sure! Just a side note- I am in Phoenix AZ and with summers hitting the 118 F mark through summer I am amazed how well this product has stood up against our harsh hot weather as it is permanently outside on the side of the swimming pool. ... show more

I purchased this 3 years ago and it worked flawlessly until the rubber gasket got a hole in it. I ordered another one that came in 3 days and hooked it up. I decided to see if I could fix the old one. When I saw the problem I wrote them an e mail requesting a new rubber gasket. They replied the next day saying they were sending it. I was shocked when a brand new entire unit arrived in 2 days. Great service. I e-mailed them back to tell them I only wanted a rubber gasket and was shocked that I got the whole thing. Wish I had gotten a product like this sooner. I have a salt pool and the salt is rusting/corroding the metal wrapped flexible connection hose. This morning the hose blew a hole in it. Have reached out to the manufacturer, and they are expediting the replacement part shipment no questions asked. Hopefully that was a fluke ... show more
