This cover is very well made and well packaged. It arrived in good order and is an excellent solution to cover our mini split unit protecting it from the bears in our area and it looks great. It is heavy and needs 2 people to install but should last for many years to come.

This company actually cares about the quality of their product and most importantly they care about what shape it arrives in when you receive it. It came in a heavy duty cardboard box. The product was bubble wrapped and then placed in a plastic sleeve. Then they used styrofoam AND a softer padding for further protection. But wait!!! There’s more!! They placed hard plastic corner pieces at each corner for FURTHER protection. Then they give you gloves so you don’t cut yourself when assembling the cover. Who does THAT?? It’s absolutely beautiful. I had a little trouble with their assembly instructions. It appeared to me that the “corner angle” pieces provided were not for my model??? But they encourage you to call if you have questions and they have videos too. I also had to think outside the box (no pun intended) to fasten the top piece to the sides in the back where the open side is. My fix worked just fine. This product was exactly what we needed! Looks great and fits like a glove. A part was missing and I called the customer service number hoping someone would pick up on a Saturday so I could order. Coincidently, I am in the Miami area where the company is as well and they actually personally delivered the missing part within hours!!!!! Let me first state that there was a Fedex shipping glitch which was satisfactorily addressed by Airdeko's customer service rep, Veronique. She gave 5-STAR service by sending out another unit. Having just invested a princely sum for a Mitsubishi Mini-Split A/C system, we wanted to protect the equipment from the elements; i.e snow; hail; wildlife, etc. After much research in all manner and types of protective HVAC covers, we chose the Airdeko aluminum cover. Reviews that are out there recommend it. We also liked it for its aesthetic qualities. We've provided two photos with this review. As you can see, at the front top left of the unit, there is a nice buckle/ding which is very visible. The box/packaging did not reflect this flaw. As a matter of fact, it was well packed, which leads me to believe that it was damaged before it was packed! Hence, the 3-STAR rating for QUALITY. We would have sent it back, but repacking this would have been a huge headache, as well as another monetary outlay we do not wish to incur. Unfortunately, it has to be completely unpacked in order to inspect it. There was also a thin protective skin/membrane around each piece to prevent scratching. Once it is removed, there's no way to re-apply it for a return. We still like it, but it is just annoying to look at it after spending over $500.00 on it. ... show more

The quality on this thing was much better than I expected - metal is much thicker than expected. Easy to assemble - packaging was great (no dents or scratchers. Easy to put together and just PERFECT for what I needed - always wanted a split AC but the look outside was horrible
