  • Significant upgrade, very portable.
I tested this product thoroughly and didn’t have any issues with performance or maneuverability. It’s a significant upgrade to my previous air compressor. I foolishly purchased a larger tank thinking it might be useful for garage projects and, despite owning it for over a decade, I’ve largely only used it for trim work which made it difficult to lug around. This is significantly more portable and appropriately sized for that sort of work. It’s light, attractive, and functional. It fills quickly, is reasonably quiet, and performs as expected. I used a coiled hose as opposed to the straight one it came with. I also didn’t use the included tools, though did find them of reasonable quality and variety to be useful if you don’t already have a compressor kit. While I don’t use the dual ports, it’s a nice option to have coupled with the 6-gallon tank that would be useful for multiple people doing renovations in the same space. I thought it was reasonably priced and look forward to using this product for years to come. ... show more

  • Great light duty compressor
This compressor kit came with all the parts to get you started. The hose and air nozzle are a great addition. The kit even comes with enough pieces to rig up a quick connect system. Unfortunately, I really wanted to use a die grinder with this compressor but it is too small to handle that tool. It ran for a bit but after about a minute the pressure dropped to about 50psi which was hardly enough to get the cutter to really cut the wood. I did get a good bit of cutting in but not enough to make anything reasonable. Just make sure that you know what you are planning on using the compressor for. I do enjoy using the air nozzle. It makes cleanup in my shop so much quicker. I was using a leaf blower before but the air nozzle is way more effective. Overall I’m happy with this compressor. I’ll need to upgrade to a larger one soon. ... show more

  • Why, Ecomax, Why?
Beautiful little compressor. Works well - no leaks - left it sitting for 5 days, after testing, fully charged - It doesn't leak a spit of air. It is noisier than I'm used too - but - I'm used to vintage compressors (cast iron pumps - whisper quiet) . I've had plenty of the the noisy little job site compressors over the years though - and this girl is relatively quiet in comparison; she's, actually, super quiet compared to some I've heard from the cheap freight tool store. She's light – that's what I like. My old orange job compressor died about a year ago. I've been using one of my two little vintage 10 / 15 (?) gallons (American Kellogg – or – Sears) Those suckers are heavy. If I were lucky I could probably throw 1 of those about foot. I could throw this girl 10 to 15 feet – makes it easy to toss her in the truck. This compressor goes up to 150 PSI – that is impressive. I've seen and owned a lot of compressors, and I've never seen a baby like this that would hit 150 psi. I don't know if she has a little two stage pump, or how they do it – but I like it. 150 psi means she holds a lot more air in that 6 gallon tank – might be able to use her for some light plasma cutting and HVLP sprayers. I'll have to be careful to set this for the ratings of my nail guns – 150 can blow some seals. I really – really - don't like deceptive marketing, and I don't support vendors that swim in that creek. In the banner Ecomax calls this a 175 PSI compressor & they repeat that claim in the description. The sticker on compressor says 150 PSI, The pilot valve is set to 150 & stops at 150, a photo claims release valve is rated for 150 PSI. I don't care if it is possible to set the pilot valve to 175 – this is a 150 PSI compressor. Calling it 175 psi is a lie. It is deceptive marketing and this is a 3 star review for an, otherwise, 5 star compressor. EDIT: Well, guess Ecomax read my review. They changed the banner to read, "150 psi." They also corrected the, "maximum 175 psi," in product description to read, "150 psi." Honesty is doing it because it's right - not because you're called on it. At least, they copped to it. Still, I'll be leaving my rating unchanged as a reminder that the objective of marketing should be to describe your product as accurately as possible, and not to deceive in hopes of selling more units. ~ Thanks for Reading – Have an Incredible Life! ~ ... show more

  • Great little air compressor.
I bought this air compressor for small hobby purposes due to it being oil free. It delivers up to 175 PSI with a 6.0 gallon tank, ensuring efficient tool usage and quick recovery. It came with essential accessories like an air hose, gauges, plugs, and a blow gun. I like that it was designed for versatility; it features dual quick couplers for simultaneous tool operation and an oil-free pump for low maintenance. The oil free pump keeps the air clean which is critical for my application. It is really light, weighing in less than 30 lb., it's portable, suitable for various tasks from light industrial to household uses. With quiet operation and quick start capabilities in low-voltage and cold conditions, it's an excellent choice for anyone needing a reliable air compressor. ... show more

  • Nice, noisy, typical
Nice, typical pancake compressor. By typical I mean noisy. Listing says it is 175 psi one place 150 another. It is 150. Arrived with about 25 psi pressure. It took 3 min or so to auto shutoff at 150, which is what gauge shows in my photo. Al-in-all, a typical small pancake comressor. If you want/need one, this could be it. ... show more

  • Decent compressor but...
It's a decent little 6 gallon pancake compressor. It's on par with Harbor Freight's McGraw line. I needed lightweight little pancake to take on smaller jobs, so I picked this one up. My main problem is that I chose this one because the listing states it's 1.5hp. It's not. The actual manual and paperwork that came with the compressor show that's it's only 1.0. While that may not sound like much, that's 50% less than advertised and a significant difference in power. It works good for a 1.0 hp compressor. Wouldn't have gotten it had I known it was different than the listing. ... show more

  • Good compressor, not great accessories
Accessories pack is super cheap and not great quality. Compressor is holding up pretty well so far it's a little expensive compared to the quality you get for cheaper equivalents
