UPDATE: I'm updating my original review to share my experience with customer service from the seller, Bqblife. Within 1 day of posting my review, i recived a message from Bqblife offering me a full refund, or a free replacement with an updated product, which addresses the issues i had with the original product; namely, a user selectable color temperature switch, and a higher capacity 4200mAh lithium battery. I agreed to try the updated led lights and received a set of two within 2 days. I am very pleasantly suprprised by the significant improvements in the upgraded LED lights that I received. Specifically, the new version has a switch to toggle through the 3 different color temperatures available. The warm setting is very soft and pleasant, but slightly less bright than the other 2 settimgs. The coolest setting is brighter but very harsh white and similarto the 6K color of the original lights. The middle setting is the brightest and cooler than the warmest settng, but significantly warmer and more natural than the original 6K color. The warm and middle settings are both very good in my opion, its just a matter of personal preference. Next, the battery upgrade makes the LED bar shorter and thicker than the original lights, but in no way detracts from the thin eligant design. The larger 4200 mAh almost doubles the capacity of the 2200mAh originals. The ON/OFF/ATUO switch has also been imporoved amd relocated to the face of the light instead of the edge. Lastly, the new lights came with an upgraded USB Type C charging port connector, rather than the older, slower micro USB . Because of the excellent customer service response from Bqblife, I'm upgrading my rating to 4 stars. I don"t know if or when the seller will offer the upgraded lights for sale on amazon, but if they do I would buy more of them as needed. ORIGINAL REVIEW: These are reasonably bright and work as advertised, however, they are certainly not the warm color I was expecting based on the description. The cast an unpleasantly white light similar to old fluorescent light fixtures and wash out the colors of everything they illuminate. Battery life is just ok, not nearly as good as others I have bought which last for months rather than days of intermittent use. I could live with the battery life but the awful color temperature is a deal breaker for me. ... show more

I was able to receive these the same day I ordered them. I was a little worried thinking that they either wouldn’t be long or bright enough, but I figured I would try them anyway. I’m so glad I did they are the perfect fit under my kitchen cabinets. The installation was just peeling a sticker and popping them in place. I also like that I can take the light itself off of the clips holding it in place to charge the light. The motion sensor is very good - it even picks up my small dogs walking past. I don’t like that they only stay on for such a short time after motion, but they also have a “on” switch so that they can stay on until switched off. Will update with battery life as I just receive them today, but so far, I’m incredibly happy with this purchase. ... show more

I wish the lights were warmer in color. I also notice that the lower the battery gets the longer it takes to trigger a motion event. The battery tends to last a long time, so am pleased with the purchase.

These work great and I love how slim they are However, installing the shorter ones was weird because the metal bracket that they cling to needs to be off-center to hold them up flush to the bottom of the cabinet. I’m assuming that’s where the internal magnet is. So if you install the metal bracket centered on your cabinet, the light will cling to it, but at a bit of a tilt if you stick it up centered on the bracket. Then if you slide the light over a bit to even it out, it’s no longer centered on the cabinet. The adhesive is VERY sticky and while it didn’t leave residue when I pulled it off to recenter the light, the metal bracket bent while prying it off the cabinet because it was really stuck on there (which is a good thing if you install it where you want on the first try). Not an issue with the longer lights that need two brackets to hang up. Overall, not a major issue, just a quirk. ... show more

This is the easiest solution to add light in your closet or kitchen counter. When you walk into our kitchen at night the light switch is at the opposite side of the room. Adding these motion detection lights under the cabinets starting at the cabinets near the entryway that does not have the light switch totally fixed our lighting problem! Now we do not have to walk through a dark room to reach the light switch to turn on the light!!! The sensor is triggered when it detects a person standing in front of it so that's nice that you don't have to worry about turning it off or on. Speaking of turning it off or on, you also have that option. You can have it on auto, where it only comes on when it senses a person, you can have it off or switch it to the on all the time position if you're working in an area where you need the light on consistently. The light on auto seems to time out in about 15-20 seconds so you don't have to worry about it burning up its charge and the fact that it is rechargeable is going to be a big bonus for most people. No need to worry about batteries, just recharge. I typically don’t wait till the battery is completely drained. Once the battery is low, the light becomes a little dimmer and I know it’s time to recharge. The light bar may operate in (ON) mode for around six hours after being fully charged. But if you're on sensor mode this will last over a week in my case. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen but in a closet, this light will last for weeks. It has 3M tape on the back so that means even if you want to move it you'd have no problem getting replacement adhesive pads to put this in another location. I recommend 100% ... show more

I bought these for my mobile plant business. They’re magnetic, so I can move them anywhere on the ceiling. I have them under the shelves too. Those ones are mounted with the included hardware.
