This pole is super sturdy, easy to adjust length, and easy to use. My only complaint is I had to buy it, and that it doesn’t come with the vacuum, but that is really against the vacuum and not this pole.

I cannot use it to pull the cleaner completely out, but I can raise it to the surface or I can more easily grab it and pull it out. This is great asset for retrieving the little 600 Seagull Robot, lovingly called by me R2-D2. If you already have a pole for pool purposes it attaches perfectly. No need to get another pool pole. It's sturdy but like all things they may break. It's a good idea to have a back up.

Would not recommend. Had the older I’m older and it worked great. This “updated” model is not good. The way the handle is designed, when you lift it out of the water, it’s tilted, so everything it just sucked up, dumps right back into the pool. Also, it does not go all over the pool like the previous model. The older one would turn better, this one just goes back and forth and only covers a bit half of our oval pool. Yes, I red the description on square footage it covers, and yes we are well under that. I cannot recommend this, I will be returning it unfortunately. ... show more

I got to use with the pool vacuum because it was to short. Can be used outside the pool but I like doing it from the I side of the pool.
