Entirely plastic. Looks somewhat cheap and flimsy, but works as advertised. Connects fine with the Tuya or Smart Home app, and we get some good scenes and 16m colors. One downside is the light is a little more focused that I'd like, almost like a spotlight effect. This is likely a side-effect of it's thinness, with most of the light aimed downward. If the diffuser were more curved instead of so flat, the light would probably diffuse throughout the room more. Taking off one star for this, as the chandelier its replacing filled the room with a more even light. Other than that, it works as advertised. I'm not sure about the CRI rating, I feel like my old LED chandelier had a better light output, but I have no way to test the CRI. ... show more

I needed a brighter light fixture for my laundry room and found this. I didn't need anything fancy and didn't want to spend too much and this light fixture seemed to fit perfectly. I actually bought two, one for my kitchen and one for the laundry room. They were both very difficult to pair up but I did eventually get them working and once I had them paired on the app I was able to link with Alexa and Google Home. These smart light fixtures are very bright and change colors well. Ordered two of these and received two just slightly different lights. They have just slightly different casing and their colors are also slightly off. Their bases were also slightly different. Installing them was easy, but they only pre-stripped around half an inch of wire, which made it really difficult to work with. I trimmed off some more to make it easier. I also had to use my own twist on wire connectors because the included ones fell apart. The differences aren’t really enough to make me want to replace them, and other people might have better luck.
