I’ve been always using conventional locks for the past decades. Thus, I decide just go for a lock with keypad not fully smart lock which has wireless connection with the internet and my phone. I found this lock has right size the color and style fit to my ring bell. Thanks to their video instruction, which helped me when installation. It took me less than half an hour to set it up. To program it, just follow the attached instruction, very clear and easy to go. I’ve been use it for couple days, so far so good. It uses 4XAA batteries. Looks with pretty good quality. Hopefully it will last long.

The media could not be loaded. The first lock I got was a lemon that would simply not work despite the correct installation, but the company immediately sent out a new one, which arrived one day later! Installation was super easy, and took a very short amount to install by myself. Programming was also very easy after I took the video to show how it works. It all works like a charm. However, there is one huge drawback, in my opinion. There is that lock-out button underneath the deadbolt. It is supposed to be a convenience that allows you to shut out anyone and every one until you move the deadbolt inside manually to deactivate it. As much as I love the thought of shutting out the world, my twin toddlers have shut out me by activating exactly this button. I can't tell you if it was by accident or on purpose, as they giggled behind the door while I was begging them to turn the knob. Luckily, I was able to enter through the garage door after realizing that they had walked away to tend to their toys again. This showed me that the button can pose a real annoyance since it can be so easily pushed in a heartbeat. I just hope that they will stop pushing the button since I explained to them that that was not okay. They said they understood, but then, they are toddlers, and one never knows really with them. So overall, this is a great, easy-to-install and program electronic door lock. You just have to be aware always to have the key on you if you have small kids running around.

I replaced an existing deadbolt lock with this one, so I didn't have to drill the holes in the door. Everything lined up well, and I didn't have to do any additional shaving or chiseling as I sometimes have had to do with other deadbolt replacements. I love having a keypad lock on our back door now. Super easy to get in from the backyard any time without a key. You can't beat it for the price!!

The smart lock I got looks really nice asthetically and has a high tech feel. It works really well and the key pad works really well. You can program the codes you prefer. I feel the price is really reasonable for the lock that I received. I may get another one later on for my garage entry door.
