When I say I got into hydroponics as a hobby I mean I got INTO it. I have tomatoes growing out of jars, broccoli in buckets, and everything in between in progressively wackier containers. It's a lot of fun but tomato plants are thirsty and opening multiple jars every day is not very fun. Especially the ones that have covers to prevent algae. Such a pain to check water levels. These drip bags are AMAZING. Such a clever idea. I just took the little spike off the end since I don't use any soil, secured it inside each jar/container near the top, and adjusted the nutrient drip to keep it level for each plant. I am ecstatic. Now I can tell water levels at a glance and filling up a bag is SO much easier than fighting with various DIY...situations. If you're ridiculous like me and have things growing in all kinds of goofy ways these things are perfect

I bought four of the drip watering bags. These drip watering bags work after some testing and adjusting. The adjustable dial that controls the amount of water that is dripped is graduated in ml/hr. Each dial on each bag drips at a different rate even tho they may be set on the same rate. They are inconsistent. Before using, it is advisable to test each bag system at various settings to determine which setting on each bag works the best. The week before a week long trip, I filled each bag and let them drip at different settings to determine how long the water in the bag would last at the observed drip rate. The setting on each bag's drip control dial varies quite a bit from each other. Once this is figured out, I deep watered four flower pots and set up a water filled bag in each to keep the soil moist during a 90 degree dry spell outside in the sun. The bags did they're job and kept the pots moist for a little over a week and were empty when we returned. The flowers looked good but would have surely perished if the bags were not used. A good value for the price.

Absolutely easy to use and it has great fine control of how much water you dispense. I plan to use this year-round because it's so much simpler and more accurate than watering every day. A water IV for you plants. use them when go out of town for a few days and really do work. hold water fully without breaking. Hard to store easily so have to be careful you don't accidentally cut one on something sharp but they really do work!

I tested the product before I used it. I hung the bag filled with 2 liters of water with the stick in a stick in a cup. The cup did not fill at all. When I tried to blow air through the tube it wasn’t going through. Keep in mind 2 out of the 4 bags works
