Ordered the LED Solar light for my Grill Gazebo, and was disappointed after installing it. Followed the instructions and charged the light via enclose USB to Micro USB charging cord for a little over 6 hours. Light charged just fine in the kitchen, after full charge, tested the light and remote. Had to turn off the "Auto On/Off feature, and following the written instructions this worked just fine. I ran the light thru the different settings via the remote, zero issues other than having to be really close to the light for it to register the signal from the remote. The light sat on my kitchen table disconnected from the solar panel for a couple of days until my back patio was done being worked one. Went out to the Grill Gazebo to install the light & solar panel. No issues with installation, although my OCD had an issue with the brackets not being "square", but once installed, I could forget about that. Next, I connected the solar panel to the light, and this is where it all went downhill. As soon as I connected them, then the LEDS came on, which they should not have since the light was "Off" via the remote. The only way to turn off the LEDs was with the plunger power button on the light itself. But if the light is off, then the remote is useless. So, I turned it back on, and the LEDs lit up again. Then the remote no longer works, nothing. Yes, it had brand new batteries. So I went to the troubleshooting portion of the instructions for "light not working" 1. "Run out of battery: Connect solar panel let charge for 8 hours, or USB charge for 4 hours." Solar panel was in the sun for a good portion of the day. I do live in Texas, and I zero tree in the back yard. This step failed. 2. "In light sensor control mode, the light is in bright place." Obviously this doesn't pertain to me since the LEDs came on with the solar panel connection, and the remote doesn't work. 3. "The remote controller has no response: Aim the controller at the receiver of the light, at minimum of 8-10 meters. Nope, this one didn't work either, even within 3-4 inches from the sensor. 4. "The remote controller runs out of power: Replace battery. Well, this also is void since the batteries are brand new and they worked 3 days prior. Overall, the light has a cheap feeling, and craftsmanship just isn't there. I knew the light was cheap when I bought it, I just needed a light for grilling night. This solar light will make its way to the trash can, and I will continue on with another attempt from another company. ... show more

    • Only lasted 6 months
I loved this light… until I didn’t. It just stopped working. We checked the cords and changed the batteries. But nothing makes it work. It was super bright and just what I needed for my barn. But I guess I’ll go back to finding another one to take it’s place. 👎👎

    • Works like it should
Hung it up in a 30x24 storage building with 12’ roof. The remote has to be fairly close and pointed at the light to work. Lights up my building good enough to walk around at night and is better than a flashlight. It’s great for what it is but is not a replacement for a hard wired light.

    • Bright, adjustable light with a remote solar panel
I bought a second light the week after I got the first one. Very bright, adjustable for a smaller/larger light throw. The cord for the remote solar panel is quite long- about 6-7 foot. I screwed the lights into an eave and set the solar panel on the roof above it. On high the light works 5-6 hours after a day of exposure to the Arizona sun. On low it does not last much longer, so we usually leave it on high then set the timer for 4 hours. The remote control works well so far. ... show more

    • Excellent when it works
Let me start by saying I've ordered 2 of these lights. The first one has been great with absolutely no issues in our sheep barn. The second one which I got just 2 days ago already won't turn on (worked last night). We had a full sun day today so there should be full charge. Not sure what the problem is. Going to try again tomorrow and see what if anything I can do. The 2 nights that it did work for my chickens it was great. ... show more

    • Not very bright but bright enough
This is used in my shed at the back of my property which has not power to it. It is sufficient to light it up at night but it is not very bright. If it was twice as bright it would be perfect. Had to place battery powered motion lights as well to offer enough light. Still for the money it works okay

    • Stopped working a little then a year.
About a year later it stopped working. Initially excited and worked right out of the box but after awhile it just stopped working. Could have been broken even longer since I don’t use it that often. It’s December now and I last used it in June. Tried to trouble shoot but unsuccessful. Only used a handful of times set up in the shed. Set up once so it wasn’t abused, but now it doesn’t turn on at all. I imagine it’s probably the solar panel not charging the batteries, bc the led lamp was in a dry secure shed it’s whole life. Don’t waste your money. Look elsewhere. ... show more

They offered to send another light because they wanted me to be satisfied with their service and product and were sorry for the inconvenience. They did NOT ask for me to change the original review. I am updating my original review because this company stepped up and made the effort. The new light arrived in excellent condition and works very well. Quality seems very good.
