EDIT #2: Turned the little black switch on the side to off, which helped tremendously. It's even brighter than before. I guess even though it was plugged into the USB on my desk, it wasn't receiving enough juice to stay bright for how long i was using it. But turning the black switch to "off" overnight fixed the problem. EDIT #1: I've had this for 2 months now, and for the first time I noticed the light got very dim (gradually) as I was studying. I have it plugged in, so I don't think it's the battery. I'll try to keep it off for a while to see if it will improve tomorrow, but I hope that it doesn't continue to stay dim. Otherwise I will be looking for a different lamp. -- Bright enough for what I need it for. I love that it doubles as a ring light and desk lamp. It doesn’t clip to the side of my desk unfortunately (my desk sides are too large) and it isn’t too sturdy on its own because it’s so lightweight (great for portability but not as a desk lamp). So I clipped it to a coaster instead to help weigh it down. Of all 3 modes I use the last one the most as it feels brightest. The brightness in all three color modes is adjustable if you just hold your finger over the power button. Overall great value for the price and I like that I can take it with me if I do need to go somewhere. ... show more

    • SMALLER THAN IT LOOKS
This light is smaller than it looks like in the photo. It clamps good onto a table. After fully charged it works for about 3 hours. It's not too bad for the money and it's convenient that it's rechargeable and easy to take anywhere that you need some light. It has three settings of light.

So this lamp is rather funny. It charges through a micro-USB port, which is great, as there is no custom cable to lose. The neck of the lamp is very flexible, you can adjust it the way you want, however as many other reviewers pointed out, the lamp is very lightweight, so there is a certain danger of it tripping over. There is a single touch button that controls everything - it turns the lamp on and off, as well as cycles through the three modes with different color temperatures. Now the fun part is that this lamp has a hidden feature, which is not mentioned anywhere in the details or in the enclosed user manual. Within each mode, the brightness is actually adjustable! Yes, you read this right - this is a dimmable lamp. The way you control it is you hold your finger against the touch button and the brightness will gradually go down. Release and hold it again - and the brightness will start coming up. Moreover, the lamp actually remembers the last setting for each mode, which seems to have confused a lot of people into thinking that the brightness deteriorates over time. This lamp is great in many ways. It is super light weight, the lights are bright, the USB charing is fast and convenient, and the lamp head swivels in pretty much any way you want. There is a single button for operation, which turns the light on, then cycles through the three types of lighting: Natural, Warm, and Cold. This lamp is an excellent, transportable, multi-use light source. Downsides: 1) it is so light that when you pivot the lamp head too far, the lamp tips over. 2) There is no dimming option and the lights are rather bright. So, if the base were a touch heavier so the lamp doesn't tip over, and if it had some dimming capabilities, this lamp would be perfect. But even with these two flaws, I would still recommend this product. It's really good for the money. ... show more

    • nice inexpensive desk lamp
i wanted a desk lamp for zoom meetings at the office that wasn't too expensive and this fit the bill. it doesn't have the array of colours and brightness that other more expensive lamps have. Where it makes up are in 2 things: 1. it is chargeable and holds a lot of power so it can be used cord free 2. it has swivel neck so it can be bent to point in any direction. however, the base isn't heavy so if you stretch it too far out it will topple over. the base is designed to be clipped onto something, but i just have the lamp standing on my desk. maybe if it were clipped it wouldn't topple over. ... show more

Flexible neck and bright. It's got a few different light colors. The rechargeable battery is really convenient. If you don't want to worry about it dying on you, leave it plugged in to your computer. It comes with a wall adapter also. It's not perfect though. The base isn't heavy/wide enough to keep itself upright if you stretch the head out too much. That's easy to fix tho. The price is right and I find myself grabbing it for a lot of different reasons. I wish I could give it 4 1/2 stars. If it had a more stable base I'd give it 5. ... show more

I don't expect much from an under $10 lamp, but I DO expect it to work when assembled. I gave it 1 star but wanted to give it zero--I shouldn't have to take a chance with my purchase and hope that the cheaply made lamp actually lights up. Seller should do some quality control to assure that the lamp it sells works. Not happy about having to spend time having to pack it up and head off to UPS for my free return. ... show more
