I've been using my refurbished Chromebook ("excellent') for about three weeks, and am so pleased with it. It is fast, intuitive, has a generous, bright display and operates so smoothly. This for a third of what I paid in 2017 for my Acer Aspire E15, which cannot run Windows 11 and in any case had become cumbersome and frustrating functionally. I am a basic user -- e-mail, writing, light social media use -- and this Chromebook suits me well. Syncing to Android phone even gives me access to text messages on my Chromebook, which may be overkill, but which is nonetheless nice for when I misplace my phone (which never happens, right?) I love that it starts without a hitch upon opening, and shuts down quickly; it all just feels so much faster, simpler and streamlined than the old Windows Acer, and according to research before buying, I'll have support for this Chromebook for at least five years. Nice, too, to learn more about Google Drive and storing files and photos in the cloud (15GB free), rather than cluttering my own computer. Finally, as a matter of principle, it's nice to have a refurbished product that is good as new without contributing to the production of new electronics.     • Great replacement for our old Windows laptop
This refurbished Chromebook came without a scratch, and with no signs of wear at all. My wife needed an updated machine and this filled the bill. It took me about half an hour to set up, with tabs for her Gmail, Facebook, Google Search, Amazon, and a banking site. The very large touchpad is easy to use, and the limited memory and storage are more than enough for her purposes. She also loves the fact that it boots up quickly and allows her to do everything that the old Windows 7 it replaced can do, from web browsing to printing.     • Nice overall but battery life not so good.
The condition of the one I received is great, looks new. Others mention that the screen isn't great but I find it much better than my 14in Lenovo Idea Pad 3. Just received it but at this time everything seems to work as it should. My only gripe would be the battery life. Numerous reviews say it lasts all day. When I charge this one it starts out saying "11 hours left" but after just an hour or so that drops to "6 hours remaining" and it switches to low power mode after 4.5 hours. I'll see if there is a way to re calibrate the battery like a phone and update. I use it at home mostly so it's not a major problem but if you're buying it to carry around away from home or work I'd suggest you check the battery usage and charge and drain it a few times before the return date so you know how much time your battery is actually good for. ... show more

I have been using this laptop for 2 days and it's great. It's pretty big, it has no scratches, and it's completely new. I have signed in to HBO, Netflix, Tubi, Crunchyroll, and YouTube. All work well and are so smooth. Though, Roblox is quite laggy. So if you are looking for a laptop to game on, this isn't the one. But the reason I bought it was for writing and watching movies and such. So for me, it's a 5 out of 5. ... show more

Great crome book it came securely and neatly packaged. The laptop itself had 0 marks no schratches either. It's a great backup laptop good for movies,browsing, and some games as well, it's not a gaming laptop but you can have fun and kill time on a bus plane hospital you name it I'm very happy with this purchases I'm watching a movie in the bed right now.
