These work quite well actually. The product is built very good and seems like it will last for a while. There is a heating base that comes with these so when the beads turn from bright orange to black you know that the dehumidifiers are holding max amount of precipitation and it's time to put them on the heating base to dry out and bring the beads back to bright orange. The base has a safety so once you put them on to dry out and the process is complete the base will stop working and not over dry the dehumidifies out, this takes about 30 minutes to run the process completely. I have a 36 pew pew size safe and it keeps my humidity level from 50% to 54% which is perfect from what I'm told. Before I bought these my safe would be all the way up around 65% to 70% and that bis no good. The one issue I have is this. Sometimes I have to dry them out a lot more than I should have to as in 2 time in a week but then sometimes they will go for a month. These need to get dialed in so that it's on a monthly schedule and not weekly. I still recommend these because they do work very well keeping my humidity levels down. If I have to dry them out a little extra once in a while I don't mind. I will be getting more and suggest others to get some. ... show more

Only had this in place in my safes for a short period, but if they hold up it will be a great option. Simple to use and recharge, just a couple of hours and its good for werks. Would highly recommend and would defifitely buy again.
