  • Quick way to make coffee
Color: Clear
Love this! Super portable, we just stick it in a pack and take it backpacking with us. I was surprised with the multiple parts it’s pretty easy to clean. Just wash it with the rest of my dishes. It’s easy and quick to make coffee every morning now. The quality of the coffee is amazing! Also love how it doesn’t take up much room on our counter. ... show more

  • Versatile and Portable
Color: Black
I love this coffee press. It is compact, easy to use and brews a fantastic cup of coffee. I would recommend a burr grinder if you don’t have one. It is the perfect accessory.

  • The reviews were correct - the most reliable way to make consistently great coffee
Color: Clear
As many, many others have said, this makes great coffee! I did also get the flow control valve, which really should be standard and is overpriced (compared to the Aeropress itself,) but it makes it easy and clean. Feels durable, should last a long time.

  • My favorite at home brewer
Color: Clear
Its good at extracting flavor, fast and portable at relatively low cost. Only better thing would be espresso and those machines cost $2k or lever brewers at least $200-300 and are more work. Aeropress is my #1 recommendation for simple at home brewer. The see through version looks cool, however I encountered issue that sometimes it’s hard to open after brewing. This issue didn’t ofcur on regular version so I guess it has to do with material. Its mostly avoidable just dont srew the bottom part on any more than necessary. ... show more

  • I highly recommend but, be sure to purchase the one way valve accessory
Color: Blue
I am a serious coffee aficionado. I've collected many different pour over devices as coffee and cooking are my hobbies. I had an Aeropress that I was gifted just sitting on my shelf for the longest time. But recently, I decided to give it a try for the first time. I watched a couple of videos by my hero, James Hoffman, and then, also reviewed the Aeropress site for instructions. Now, the one that I owned, that was gifted to me, came with a Fellow metal mesh filter and the Prismo non return valve option. And I am glad that it did as it resulted in my having an exceptional experience with the Aeropress from the first time. I've since tried it with 11 grams of coffee and also the more recommended 18 grams and both times the flavor profile was good. I've become a fan, to the point where I just purchased a second one in blue, just for the heck of it. On my Fellow Ode 2, I grind finely, a setting of 2. The water temperature is 210F. Hoffman recipe is 11 grams. Something about using the metal mesh, you get a fuller body. But the paper should be fine too. If you don't opt for the non return Prismo by Fellow, you will probably move to the inverted recipe, as, in its original form you do get a little bit of drip through with the paper filter. Try it every which way. I like the convenience of it for travel and plan to take it on my next cruise. Prior to this, I took my Gabi Master A, which I also love for making coffee. ... show more

  • Best tasting coffee ever
Color: Clear
I have been through the gamut of coffee machines - percolator, electric coffee maker, French press, the pod thing, and a traveling French press mug that I really like. I had finally decided that the French press mug made the best coffee until I bought this. I had a hard time justifying the price as it is a bit ridiculous. But along with this I also bought a hand grinder for my beans. Between these two things, I am now able to make the best cup of coffee I have ever made. And it's very quick. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • A good product gets better
Color: Blue
I bought a second Aeropress so that I could make two cups at the same time. The one I'm reviewing is a better design than the older one. The holes in the locking cap are slightly larger, making it easier to push the liquid through. Good thinking, AeroPress. It's nice-looking, too. I always get a small stainless steel filter for this kind of coffee maker. No paper waste and the coffee flavor is more interesting. Amazon has plenty of those to choose from. ... show more

  • Very Solid for daily use
Color: Clear
It remains my go-to favorite method for brewing coffee. Drinking coffee brewed in other methods are usually far inferior to the AeroPress. I bought this to replace my decade+ old AeroPress that needed to be taken to a pasture in upstate New York for the freedom to run around in the open land. The clear material is more than a gimmick—it looks very nice! Not a single hint of it staining with constant exposure to brewing coffee. Remarkable. It has been tested by someone who left a brewed cup inside there for approx. 24hrs. straight and even then, it did not stain. My two beefs with this version are what changed and what was left out. The black cap that holds the filter in place (I use a metal filter) is kinda tough to use. I have a terrible time getting proper purchase on it to tighten. It's just a bit too smooth. I decided to keep the cap from my decade+ old AeroPress instead and threw this new cap away. New cap is clearly inferior in grip (functionally it was fine, but grip with my hand sucked). My second beef is the decision to leave out the funnel. Seems it was a victim of cost-cutting because it is the leave essential component of the ensemble, but I think that was a mistake. I use it daily to guide coffee grounds into the chamber and I use it occasionally flipped over as a widget to use an AeroPress on a very large/wide cup. Fortunately I still had one from my old AeroPress so I'll be fine, don't worry about me, but I am sad for everyone buying this as their first AeroPress and are missing out on the multipurpose of the funnel. ... show more
