    • Everything a Commuter Could Ask For

TLDR: Able to take tons of abuse and won’t fail you. Folding it up is EZ and makes for even easier storage. Use the front brake sparingly to save your wheels from flattening and if you do end up having to buy new wheels, it takes a little while before the new ones rotate smoothly. I’m a full time college student at UNT and i take the train to and from 3 days a week and use it to get around everywhere on campus, and i’ll say this is bad boy won’t let you down. I have ridden on so many downhills going at least 15-20 mph and its held up well. I’ve jumped curbs (even though the warning sign explicitly says NOT to but do what you want), rode it through mud and puddles, slammed it into walls trying to dodge pedestrians, broke the back brake and duct taped it up, and scratched it up and abused this thing way more than i should have. It isn’t electric so uphills suck but its better than spending 7x more money. Get used to the back brake more than the front one though because using the front one can make the wheels flatten since they aren’t disc brakes. Also if you do buy new wheels and they don’t rotate freely just ride it anyway and let friction shave it down for you until it works. It can also drive well along rough surfaces and cracks in the road but try not to avoid scootering near anything the wheels might accidentally get caught up unless you want road rash, goes for all scooters honestly. *Update: 3/19/24 The seller reached out to me after seeing this review and offered to reimburse us for the scooter, and also sent new wheels that should arrive next week. Very happy with the great customer service. Updating the 3 star review to a 5 star because they tried to make it right.* My 12 year old has had this scooter since Christmas. His back wheel looks this way after less than 3 months. We’ll be buying replacement wheels because the scooter itself is great; it’s sturdy, durable, the height adjustment and brakes work well, but we were shocked when he came home with the wheel like this. I wanted to reach out to the seller but couldn’t find a way to contact them so hopefully they see this review. For the record, our younger son was given an older model (7 inch wheels one) and he has had no problem. Shocked this happened to the newer model. ... show more

I love the shock absorption and large wheels for smooth riding on bumpy sidewalks. I went with the A200 since it includes a cable brake, but the stopping power is disappointing. The brake is designed to rub on the wheel surface, not on the rim or on a disk like you'd expect. If the wheels are wet the brake becomes especially useless. ... show more
