Perfect scooter to grow up with.

Excellent scooter for my 10yo boys. It’s a great size for them to use now and to use for years to come. I love how it folds down and easy to store and travel with on car rides. Great brakes, and suspension. The weight capacity is amazing. Very easy to use and fun indoors and out. Rides smooth and would make it easy to travel a little bit of a distance. Price range was affordable enough to buy both twins their own as well.

Everything a Commuter Could Ask For
Color: A200 Grey with Hand Brake
TLDR: Able to take tons of abuse and won’t fail you. Folding it up is EZ and makes for even easier storage. Use the front brake sparingly to save your wheels from flattening and if you do end up having to buy new wheels, it takes a little while before the new ones rotate smoothly. I’m a full time college student at UNT and i take the train to and from 3 days a week and use it to get around everywhere on campus, and i’ll say this is bad boy won’t let you down. I have ridden on so many downhills going at least 15-20 mph and its held up well. I’ve jumped curbs (even though the warning sign explicitly says NOT to but do what you want), rode it through mud and puddles, slammed it into walls trying to dodge pedestrians, broke the back brake and duct taped it up, and scratched it up and abused this thing way more than i should have. It isn’t electric so uphills suck but its better than spending 7x more money. Get used to the back brake more than the front one though because using the front one can make the wheels flatten since they aren’t disc brakes. Also if you do buy new wheels and they don’t rotate freely just ride it anyway and let friction shave it down for you until it works. It can also drive well along rough surfaces and cracks in the road but try not to avoid scootering near anything the wheels might accidentally get caught up unless you want road rash, goes for all scooters honestly. All that aside this scooter is a well deserved 5/5 product, its fantastic for commuting and easy storage thanks to the folding mechanism

The Ultimate Scooter Experience

I got this scooter for my 10-year-old son. He got it and installed by himself very quickly and enjoy the ride within a few minutes. The straightforward instructions made it easy to put together. My son likes this scooter because of its ability to glide effortlessly and quietly across concrete surfaces. The large wheels absorb bumps and cracks with ease, providing a smooth and stable ride that my son thoroughly enjoys. Folding up the scooter makes it easy to put in the back of the car or hold it to go up and down the stairs. The efficient hand brakes offer responsive stopping power, so bring a peace of mind knowing my kid can brake safely whenever needed, especial to a kid who does not like wearing the helmet. The Rock-solid kickstand is strong, no wobbling or tipping over, hopefully my son will get used to using it a lot because I can't stand all the scooters dropped on the grass. The sleek and appealing design has won over my son's heart. From the color to the ergonomic handlebars, every aspect of the scooter is thoughtfully crafted to appeal to young riders. Bottom line: The Aero Big Wheel Kick Scooter for Kids gets a big thumbs up from both me and my son. It's been a hit since day one, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Great scooter — perfect for keeping up with the kids

I ride this scooter alongside my son (who has his own kid scooter) on trips to the playground, and it's been awesome. The ride is smooth, it folds up easily, and it's sturdy enough for an adult while still being fun. It's become part of our regular family outings. We did have a minor issue at one point, but when we contacted the seller, they responded quickly and took care of it right away. Really impressive customer service. Highly recommend this scooter for any parent who wants to keep up with their kids!

Decent "last mile" commuter
Color: A200 Grey with Hand Brake
I picked this up because I needed to make the "last mile" commute between either A) a car parked 1 mile from workplace or B) take it on a commuter rail to ride the last 2 miles to work. Either way this fits the bill. I'm 170lbs but usually carry a backpack that can weight up to 20 lbs. The first month I rode the kick scooter stock as my legs and coordination developed after years away from the skateboard. Keep it stock during this period. 2nd month replaced the stock 200mm wheels with a thicker 200mm x 40mm wheels. To clarify the stock wheel isn't as deep and carries less mass due to this. Increasing rotating mass increases inertia and therefore more glide/coasting between kicks and a little bit more top speed. Also stock wheel bearings are ABEC-5 and the chinese replacement wheels came with ABEC-7. So there could be an improvement due to bearings as well. I can't see how I can improve this ride much more. I do use the skateboard method for slowing with the free leg of "walking" (rather than dragging the foot) the kick scooter down in speed when I can rather than using the brake. The brake wears against the tire rather than being a rim brake so too much use will lower the rear wheel's lifespan, your choice(the sole of your shoe or the wheel). Bunny hopping the curb is nice with 3 points of contact and the free leg stepping up onto the curb with the kick scooter. Olling on a skateboard was never so easy. There is a jiggle in the handle bars that feels like its a loose headset. But close scrutiny reveals that its coming from the pivot joint within the frame that allows it to fold. Handle bars don't look capable of sustaining my vigorous riding style. However they have shown no defect up to this moment. The front suspension is a nice feature in the beginning with coordination at its poorest. As fluidity improves, I noticed that I am taking weight off the front wheel when transitioning between street and walking paths/sidewalks. Overall its too much fun leaning into a turn rather than steering the turn while upright. I can't speak for longevity as I'm just beginning my 2nd month right now. It cuts down 40 minutes of walking in my day before I enter the parking lot of an interstate during rush hour. Also allows me to make an earlier connection on the days I ride the rail as I have 26 minutes to cross over 2 miles to the commuter terminal. Walking briskly I barely make the platform. But now with the kick scooter I have plenty of time to not be in such a hurry. My skateboard decks lasted a few months back in the day before they wore out(usually transfer the trucks and wheels over to the new deck). I think it would be foolish to buy this kick scooter thinking it will hold up for more than a year of work commutes. Sooner or later something will fail. If that happens it means I am riding this enough to justify a higher end purchase. That doesn't mean electric scooter, I like the extra opportunity for exercise.

My son LOVES this scooter. He is 15 and pretty much adult sized. He rides on it all day long and he honestly isn't the most coordinated kid (sorry bud!). It was super easy to put together, I did it myself without any help and took maybe 15 minutes. If you're considering it, definitely go ahead and buy this!

Sturdy, smooth, and super safe!

I love this scooter! It has both a hand brake on the handlebar and a rear wheel brake, which makes it feel much safer and easier to control. It’s very stable and a great size, perfect for a pre-teen or teenager. My son is 9 years old and it fits him perfectly. It’s big, smooth to ride, and the color looks beautiful. The foot deck is nice and wide, so he can stand comfortably, even with both feet together. It also has a kickstand, which is a big plus, it can stay standing on its own without having to lean it anywhere. Excellent quality overall, we’re really happy with this scooter!
