I love this scooter! It has both a hand brake on the handlebar and a rear wheel brake, which makes it feel much safer and easier to control. It’s very stable and a great size, perfect for a pre-teen or teenager. My son is 9 years old and it fits him perfectly. It’s big, smooth to ride, and the color looks beautiful. The foot deck is nice and wide, so he can stand comfortably, even with both feet together. It also has a kickstand, which is a big plus, it can stay standing on its own without having to lean it anywhere. Excellent quality overall, we’re really happy with this scooter!

I got this scooter for my 10-year-old son. He got it and installed by himself very quickly and enjoy the ride within a few minutes. The straightforward instructions made it easy to put together. My son likes this scooter because of its ability to glide effortlessly and quietly across concrete surfaces. The large wheels absorb bumps and cracks with ease, providing a smooth and stable ride that my son thoroughly enjoys. Folding up the scooter makes it easy to put in the back of the car or hold it to go up and down the stairs. The efficient hand brakes offer responsive stopping power, so bring a peace of mind knowing my kid can brake safely whenever needed, especial to a kid who does not like wearing the helmet. The Rock-solid kickstand is strong, no wobbling or tipping over, hopefully my son will get used to using it a lot because I can't stand all the scooters dropped on the grass. The sleek and appealing design has won over my son's heart. From the color to the ergonomic handlebars, every aspect of the scooter is thoughtfully crafted to appeal to young riders. Bottom line: The Aero Big Wheel Kick Scooter for Kids gets a big thumbs up from both me and my son. It's been a hit since day one, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Love love love this scooter. I got the light green color air tire version and the gray hard wheel model with the hand brake. Ended up returning the hard wheel one because the ride is so much better on the tire. Bumpy and uneven terrain is still rideable and quiet. No rattle. The hand brake works great not the best but so much better than only having the foot brake. I especially love the foot open and close latch. It so genius and makes closing and opening the scooter extremely simple and fast. I do have trouble opening it back up sometimes but i think it is a genius design. However i do wonder how safe this design is. I am so use to the pull latches and it doesn’t take much to understand how they work so i am hoping my apprehension is unwarranted because i absolutely love the foot press and release situation. I view this a step up from the razor air scooter which i used before and love. However it was missing a handbrake. Speaking of difference between the two the razor air tire is wider and this scooter tire is pretty narrow looking which I thought would be a unstable but isnt.The tire valve is very easy to reach on this onewhich is near impossible of the razor . The deck is a bit higher comapred to the razor that his supee low. Finally some few nitpicks - I don’t like how the handbrake wire goes through the metal bar. I don’t know how easy it would be to find a tire replacements and i wish this company sold their tires as a replacement.

If you want a scooter that will withstand anything. You’ll buy this one. We ran over this scooter with a camry and a Tahoe. I personally rode the scooter the next morning after the Tahoe incident. Because I thought for sure that was the end of the scooters life. And it also looked to good to be true. I still don’t understand how it held up so nicely after being hit twice. But as I was riding down the road, with my mouth wide open from the shock and disbelief. I thought to myself, I will never buy another scooter. The ride was just as smooth as the day we got it. And need I say, We bought this scooter for my 8 year old last year on Christmas. It’s obviously been roughly used. But still works perfectly! This is the most recent picture of it after both accidents.

*Update: 3/19/24 The seller reached out to me after seeing this review and offered to reimburse us for the scooter, and also sent new wheels that should arrive next week. Very happy with the great customer service. Updating the 3 star review to a 5 star because they tried to make it right.* My 12 year old has had this scooter since Christmas. His back wheel looks this way after less than 3 months. We’ll be buying replacement wheels because the scooter itself is great; it’s sturdy, durable, the height adjustment and brakes work well, but we were shocked when he came home with the wheel like this. I wanted to reach out to the seller but couldn’t find a way to contact them so hopefully they see this review. For the record, our younger son was given an older model (7 inch wheels one) and he has had no problem. Shocked this happened to the newer model.

I bought 2 scooters for myself and my girlfriend so we can have fun quality time together in different parks around the state. 1 scooter came perfect, as it was easy to assemble and rode smoothly. The other scooter did have a brake issue where the stopper near the rear wheel was rubbing against the wheel even without me holding the handbrake in. I contacted the service help that was provided from the instruction manual, and the customer service was immaculate! Shoutout to Jason Liu, as he help me with very descriptive and timely responses as to how to fix the issue. He was very apologetic about the product coming in as an inconvenience in the first place, but the inconvenience was easily settled once the problem was understood and fixed with simple tools. Both scooters ride very smoothly and are very easy to store away in my car's small trunk.
