When our ice maker died a couple years ago, we decided to just use ice trays to stock our ice bin. Even with just the 2 of us at home, it was a chore to remember to fill the ice trays regularly. Wasn’t sure if a countertop ice maker would be worth the money, but decided to give it a try. So happy we made that decision! This little work horse is fantastic! I use it a couple times a week and fill our ice bin and the ice is the perfect size. We make the larger bullet cubes (smaller cubes also an option). This brand received high ratings and I totally agree that it’s a great machine!

So far, it's been perfect. It made a little more noise than I had expected, but it’s ok. It works perfectly and ice production is very fast. We love ice so we bought this as a back-up since we always seem to empty the supply in the freezer. I was a bit concerned with the type of ice, but we’ve not been disappointed.

Bought this because of high reviews when both of our Whirlpool refrigerators ice makers went out in the same month. One of the ice makers no longer has available parts for it anywhere in the world and the other one requires complete replacement of the whole freezer door (at over half the cost of replacing the refrigerator) due to a design flaw in the routing of the wiring that still would be present in the new replaced door. So this little ice maker pumps out 9 little clear ice cubes continuously every 6 minutes as long as you empty the ice basket every half hour and refill the water every hour or so. We now just dump the ice into the refrigerator bucket and dispense the ice from the refrigerator door (which still works). A couple hours of icemaking fills the refrigerator for a couple of days. Easy to use and easy to clean using the self cleaning cycle once a week. Fresh ice with no musty smell or dusty ice taste. The math is even easier: new French door fridge - $3600 vs. side by side door replacement - $1900 vs. countertop ice maker - $80,

2 month update: If I could give it zero stars, I would. The "add water" light started tripping about 30 days after purchase. I followed the trouble shooting guidelines and turned it off for 2 minutes. I had to do this constantly for about an hour before it started making cubes (not exaggerating). Today is the last straw, same problem and no cubes after 2 1/2 hours. I can't return it because it's past the warranty deadline so I trashed it and I will never buy Aeitto brand again. This ice maker works very well. It takes about 1.5 hours to fill a 9" × 12" x 2" ice bucket. The ice tends to stick together in big chunks so I have to break it up every time I scoop some out. The cubes are a little small, even on the large setting, but they don't melt too fast, especially if they've been in the freezer overnight. BTW, the ice basket will hold a lot of ice but that area is not refrigerated so the ice melts quickly. I dump it in the freezer bucket after each cycle. Weekly cleaning with vinegar and water is a cinch and dumping 24 cubes to cycle out the cleaner takes no time at all. Overall, a very good investment.

Mixed feelings on this ice maker. It does make large or small bullet shapes ice. It takes less than 10minutes to get your first cubes(enough for a10-16 oz glass). The problem I have is that the bucket fills up within an hour and you have to use those or put them in your freezer because it won’t keep them frozen. You have an ice machine that won’t keep ice frozen! So…. If you are making cubes in the evening and don’t use them all, the ice will melt and then remake the cubes. I really don’t want to have the marchine running 24/7 to keep remaking ice so I have unplugged it at night. My concern is that it is going to start building up mold…..

this is replacing our older larger noisier table top ice maker. Our samsung frig (never ever buy another one) the ice maker died one day out of warranty. Been using table top ice maker for years. This machine is a workhorse for putting out ice and quiet. And takes up much less space o my counter. SO far, a winner.

Love this ice maker. A really good purchase, and glad I bought it during Prime Days on sale. There were cheaper ones to buy, but based on the reviews, specs, etc., I chose this one and glad that I did. Have had it a little over a month. Self-cleaning is easy too.
