I have Scoliosis and I work behind the desk all day. To top it off, I am a bit of a gamer, and I read/study . Point is, especially at my older age, I find myself sitting a lot more and found myself frequenting the chiropractor. Let me tell you, no exaggeration, I haven't been to the chiropractor once since owning this!!! My spinal alignment has improved tremendously because it holds your posture upright in a natural condition. Many products and chairs suffer from a primary focus on the lumbar while neglecting yo offer support to the mid-upper spinal area, which in turn assists with neck alignment. It is easily portable and attachable between chairs. I even use it in my recliner which never provided they greatest back support. I don't need to attach it in this case, so, I just drop it in line a bucket seat. The quality is great. Highly durable material that holds up the thickness and firmness feel well balanced. My only little complaint is that the very top curves inward so you feel that slightly in the upper portion of your back, but nothing too uncomfortable. In fact, I believe that it has improved over time as it may have conformed to my body more. Value for money is excellent!

I got this for my 90 year old mother due to having back arthritis. It helps her sit straight so that it puts less strain on her back due to the normal curvature of the seat she normally sits in while watching TV. It is very soft and comfortable.

When it came it was rolled up and compressed and needed to be set aside for about 24hrs to expand b4 use. There was no smell. It was extremely difficult to get the item out of the package. You cannot just slide or pull it out. It was a cloth package but not reusable. You will have to carefully unzip the package and cut slightly over the zipper then the pull and it easily tears to remove the pillow. It's thick and definitely not too firm for me. It says it's memory foam and I don't like memory foam because it eventually flattens. I like firm. Period. This is firm. Since it's back support it shouldn't flatten anyway since you're not lying on it. It fits my high back wide back dining chair just fine while I use the laptop. I don't use an office chair but I see no reason to have concerns It provides me with support because I can sit straight up along with a pressure cushion for the chair. I cannot attest to whether it provides pain relief. I don't have pain sitting. I have degenerative discs and pain in the hip when walking. Sitting is not painful but proper sitting is always a plus no matter one's condition. I'm about 5'7 at 135lbs so it fits my body just fine. I only went down a star because I didn't expect it to be compressed and so hard to remove from the package and not readily useable. Maybe the description said this but I didn't see it. But it's worth it.

I love this back support! My husband got it for me, because I'm very tall I'm 5 ft 11 inches, and needed a longer back support, it's 24 inches for sure. It helped my back gain a lot I was having pain before getting this pillow because my older one was to short and kept giving me pain and it only went up to my mid back it just was not tall enough like this one.
