I’ve owned a lot of inexpensive countertop ice makers over the years, and I think this one is my favorite. It seems to make the ice a little more quickly than others I’ve had, and the bullet-shaped cubes come out nice and thick. compared to some of the other models I’ve used, this has a slightly smaller capacity for water, but a slightly larger basket to hold the ice. I wasn’t sure how I would feel about this at first, but I think I like it better. You are adding fresh water a little more often, but that helps the water basin to not get slimy quite as quickly. And after you leave it running a while, you have more ice available to use. It is a little noisy while it is running, making it hard to have a conversation with someone in another room while I’m in the kitchen - but it’s not loud enough to be overly disruptive. A couple of times I have thought it stopped working, only to find that it just needed a couple of minutes to cool the water before starting another batch of ice. Other than that, the functions are similar to most ice makers of this type. It’s fairly easy to use and to clean. I’ll have to come back and leave an update about how long it lasted, because these little countertop machines don’t always last the longest - so far we’re about 3 months in and it’s good as new.

Great countertop ice maker. Purchased when my refrigerator ice maker broke. Simple to use. Makes ice quickly. It is easy to clean and of good quality. Perfect size for my counter. I don’t find it to be noisy. Nice modern design.

Machine is LOUD, basket holds ice for 1 16 ounce cup, hard to get ice from basket with enclosed scoop (that is too big) & ice melts in basket if not emptied.

The ice melts fast. The tray is very little. If you’re going to use the ice right away or make ice in advance and store in a freezer, this is a nice little device. I would not recommend for large parties unless you’re making your ice beforehand. Ice comes quick. Ice cubes are bullets with holes on the inside. The ice is not a solid ice cube.

This was a Christmas gift for my husband. He uses a LOT of ice. He says the size of the ice maker is perfect for a tabletop and it’s very quiet (except for the noise you’d expect when it delivers fresh cubes into the tray). He says it is very quick at producing cubes. He also likes how the cubes simply drain away as they melt - no piling up or forming a big lump of ice cubes. He’s very happy with this ice maker.

I bought this as my built in ice maker quit working and didn’t want to pull out the old one. Works quickly. Does not keep ice cubes cold so it needs attention to move cubes to a freezer as they are produced. Counter top size makes it a nice addition to any kitchen as it fits easily under cabinets

We bought this instead of paying a king's ransom to get our Samsung fridge ice maker worked on, out of warranty. For $100 including tax this thing churns out really cool looking tubular ice cubes very fast. They claim a tray of ice in 6 minutes and that is probably not that far off reality. You pour in a large glass of filtered water, shut the top and push the On button. You can get two baskets full of cubes from about 16 ounces of water. One thing, this does not refrigerate the ice, so you need to remove it after it is done, or it will melt back into the reservoir. Very happy that we were able to come up with an alternate way to cool our drinks down!

I don’t you know if I was expecting too much, but the ice was still wet when it was dumped out into the bucket, and it immediately started melting. If you’re not standing there, waiting to put it in a glass, it will immediately melt. When I put fresh tea over it it melted immediately and I still didn’t have ice. I wish I could find a machine like this that would keep it cold. We tried to transfer it over to an ice bucket in the freezer, but it would just freeze into a big block of ice and then you would need an ice pack to get it broken apart. It’s too much work for the trouble. The appearance was great, and the value was what we were looking for, but unfortunately, it did not work for us.
